For both my son and I this was our first experience with an Indian restaurant. We enjoyed our time here. We will be back. Food: Flavorful, great portions for your dollar's. My son really liked the garlic nan bread. Service: Our server was polite and courteous Atmosphere: Casual and cozy Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Tandoori Chicken
Order: I ordered them all spicy /their highest spice level. Pepper chicken (not bad), Chicken Saag (very bland, had to add salt and I tasted too much half & half in it), Goat dum biriyani (it was dumb biriyani). I’m glad I’ve experienced the food here, it made the other below average Indian restaurants look much better ones. The “goat dum biriyani” was in fact dumb than what it should have been. It was informed that the spice level could be customised, so ordered it spicy, but never expected to see chopped Serrano peppers on top of Biriyani. There was goat curry mixed with Biriyani as I could literally just taste goat curry with some curry leaves throughout in my Biriyani. The Salan was biggest joke, it was just a peanut paste with turmeric. For the value they charged this is totally not worth. Please do better.
If you want kofta swimming in flavored water, this is a perfect place in the country. They routinely run 1+1 offer on Uber eats and serve kofta in flavored water. When reported, the employee laughed and asked to take it up with uber. Have a video with the consistency of the curry. I used to order at least 2 - 3 times a month. Looks like the chef and/or ownership changed along with service standards. Will take my business elsewhere... Service Delivery Price per person $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 1

Excellent authentic Indian cuisine. I had the weekend buffet and it had a lot of options to chose from: butter chicken, tandoori chicken, goat curry, rashmali, kheer, naan, chai and others. They were all mouth wateringly delicious! The lamb curry was perfectly seasoned. The spiciness scale at Bayleaf was accurate: I chose spicy and that tasted great. You have to go visit the restaurant 3 or 4 times before you can taste it all! Nice cozy atmosphere too. Although the food was amazing and the service was decent, I have to knock off a couple of stars in the atmosphere category. In particular, there was a big issue with cleanliness and flying insects constantly buzzing around my food. Relocating didn’t help much. Another issue was when we were seated at a booth with two empty water glasses already placed upside down on the bare table. This was compounded by the stickiness and leftover crumbs by the previous customer. I couldn’t get past the idea of the rim of my glass sitting in God knows what just before it’s flipped over and filled with my water. Opted for a canned soda instead. They have great food, but there’s definitely room for improvement. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
I rarely write reviews. Much less more than one review per location. But this deserves it. My wife and I are in tears. The food here has always been phenomenal, but they recently reintroduced the buffet, and it is legendary. So many options, a wide plethora of cuisine, beautiful chutneys, vats of chai and lassi, multiple breads cooked to perfection, hot plates slowly simmering what are clearly heart-filled recipes. And the place was filled with all sorts of people quietly loving their dishes. This place, the people, everything. You must come here.

My wife and I were very hungry. We thought let's do bay leaf. We went with pepper chicken, palak paneer and pakoras. Wow! I just finished now and I do not regret it one bit. It was extremely satisfying. I still have some pakoras left which I'm savoring for later. The service is always friendly and nice. We also like to do the weekend buffets which is also amazing! Great job chef and bay leaf!! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5

I went for dosa night, I would say you get what you pay for. Don't expect much chutneys were diluted dosa was so thin that it would have need alot of oil for it to be cooked without breaking. Sambar was pretty much closer to dal then sambar. The two stars for service and chicken ( I got chicken dosa) otherwise I would have given zero or negative. Not going again definitely.
