I hate to do this, because Baxters actually serves very good food. But there was a piece of literal metal in my pasta tonight. I just can’t let something so crazy slide. That’s wild! I’m just glad I felt it in my mouth before I swallowed it and had a real medical concern. Its probably a fluke, but still, that’s crazy. Love This place! The service is awesome. And the food is delicious. I drive all the way from Indianapolis Indiana. My favorite is the fried catfish, the salad is like no other, the house Italian dressing is to die for! The portions are a good size, it’s definitely worth the money and drive! Loved that atmosphere, great music in the background (but not too loud), we were seated fairly quickly, the hostess who greeted us and seated us was so friendly and attentive. Food was presented quickly. It was delicious. I had the ribeye and garlic mashed, my friend had the jambalaya. Waitress asked as he was ordering it if he liked spicy. He said he thought he would be ok... his eyes and nose were watering after eating it, so be warned, their jambalaya is HOT Since everything came out so quickly, it felt like we should leave even tho weight staff said "whenever you're ready" Maybe it's me but I felt like they wanted to turn over the table. I cannot rave about this place enough. I always have incredible service at the bar every time I come! Food is always top tier as well. The cocktails are mixed to perfection. Another wonderful date night with my husband. We enjoyed our appetizer. It was drunken mushrooms. Then we had a salad with no croutons with ranch. My main course was lamb chops with asparagus. My husband had Brazilian kobs with brussel sprouts. My husband enjoyed his old fashion as I enjoyed my mojito without adding sugar or sweaters.
