This bakery is located inside Mega Mart. I like Korean bakery because it’s not too greasy and not super sweet. Japanese cheese cake was $4 and other bread is combination of red and green bean bread. Basically one side is red bean filling and other side is green bean filling. I stop by this bakery every time I visit Duluth. Every week they have some type of special. This week roll cakes are on sale for $13.

This was my first visit to this bakery, which used to be a White Windmill bakery located within Mega Mart. The space is now more spacious than before. However, while the prices are reasonable, the taste of the bakery items doesn't stand out as exceptional compared to other bakeries in town. We decided to stop by for some coffee and a chat after having lunch at a nearby Korean restaurant.
Basquia Bakery is a Korean bakery tucked inside Mega Mart. They've got this sale going on-Soboro for $1.50 each, so I obviously stocked up on a few.
Now, if you're a coffee aficionado, you'll appreciate that they use Illy coffee. I swing by occasionally for their iced americano; it's both cheaper and tastier than what you'll find at most other nearby coffee shops. The bakery is spacious as well.
I haven't ventured into their cake section yet, but they do look pretty tempting from a distance.
An instant fan of this newly opened bakery inside MegaMart! *Gluten Free* options, lower prices on individual pastries, cookies, desserts, etc. than those of competitors, yet even fresher. Their bread loaves are my favs. Bought many cakes too but they are okay- decorated well but they don't necessarily taste better than other bakeries - not sure why. Just think they are better on everything else but cakes. Still love this place!
This place is awesome!! One day came with my fam who shop at megamart often. I was amazed by all the pretty, delicious looking breads! They had a $1.50 soboro bread special so we got one. I don't usually like soboro but this one was amazing!! The problem with soboro a lot of times is that if the cookie layer is nice and crunchy, the bread under it is too dry/hard. Or if the bread is nice and soft, the cookie layer is not crunchy enough. But THIS soboro was well balanced for my taste! Sooo good!!! And I tried the almond twist, sometimes after eating these you can feel a layer of fat in your mouth but with the ones from here, they were so light, airy, flaky and without leaving a greasy residue in my mouth!!! Loved it! And let's be honest, k bakery cafes are not typically known for good coffee even though they charge a lot for coffee but here they serve illy hot coffee which is decent priced coffee for the quality. I can't believe it took me so long to discover this place and I'm looking forward to coming back to try more! Also, they're "Basquia Bakery." My parents and sis also liked their experience here :)
