The menu of Japanese and Thai cuisines under the direction of the great chef are wonderful at this place. Taste good shrimp rolls, tuna and shrimp tempura to form your opinion about this restaurant. Tasty pancakes and good ice cream have a pleasant taste. This place is famous for delicious wine, liqueur or beer. Coffee is great, try it. The warm atmosphere of Basil Cafe makes guests feel relaxed and have a nice time. The high ratings of this place wouldn't be possible without the nice staff. This is an awesome place to enjoy Asian cuisine. I love the atmosphere and the abundance of the dining experience. My best friend and I enjoyed just all kinds of entrées. The menu is so beautifully displayed that it's like the food jumps out of the pages. We had an awesome waitress!!!!They played great music, which accompanied the delicious food they served. This is a recent find, as in November of 2023, since then we’ve been 3 times, with this one on Christmas Eve. I’m pretty happy with all that we’ve found here, for Thai and Japanese food, this last time we had the shrimp ramen, very good and the broth is very deep in flavor. The Lovers Boat is fantastic! It’s sashimi, nageri, and a roll, quite tasty and filling. The ambiance is very nice, and they accommodate larger parties. We noticed that the noise level with larger parties is elevated but not so bad you can’t hear across the table. If you have a hankering and don’t want to drive to Dallas, this should be a stop! Small nice restaurant in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Restaurant and bathrooms are very clean and in good repair. Menu has a wide variety of selections. Staff was polite and nice but not very helpful. Our sushi and fried rice were very good. Prices are slightly on the high side. I would recommend for a quiet sushi/Asian meal. Was in town visiting from Houston and tried this place for the first time. The Japanese fried rice was so good. The hot tea was ok. The ambiance of the restaurant was good as well! We stopped in for impromptu sushi night and happy we did. We started off with Gyoza and it was tasty but our eyes lit up when the sushi came. We ordered the Rockwall, the Playboy and the Angry Dragon which was both of our fave. Service was excellent and we look forward to coming back. Good sushi and friendly staff in a cozy setting behind Kroger. Specialty rolls are creative and delicious. Customers can get two chef’s specialty rolls for the price of one Sunday through Thursday. This is an unusually good deal for a sushi restaurant.

I rarely post reviews as you can see from my profile, but I felt compelled to do so. Delicious and came with alot of food. Lunch menu includes soup, salad, california roll, rice, gyoza dumplings with your entree. Well worth the price. I got the pineapple shrimp. Will definitely be back to try the other options. Realism 2020
