Here you literally pay to eat directly at the beach, which in my opinion is worth paying a little something extra. However the food was below standard, fortunately in the end we had a laugh, when asking our waitress where the shrimps came from, local or import, she simply replied :"They're from the sea" :-D Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Lovely relaxing joint right on the beach. We visited in the winter months yet it was cosy and warm on the frontage with ambient music, and the sound of the beach, great food, appetisers and drinks (good coffee). Very relaxing I didn't remember to take a photo.

Obrigado to everybody at Barracuda Mar ;-) Back from my walk from Porto to Santiago, it is a pleasure to write something here. When I passed Povoa de Varzim I thought to make a stop at 'Barracuda'. I saw something labled about grilled Sardines and I stopped. It was a nice stay with excellent fish, excellent service and a very kind staff. We never know, if we see each other again, but this time it was a gift. Muito Obrigado! ;-)
