Good book store. Huge selection and the staff is super friendly. It's good to still have a local bookstore with such a nice selection in the modern day of reading online.

Based on my experience here, this Barnes & Noble was very clean and well organized. It seemed to be well stocked on items. Great customer service. Plenty of parking available. No issues overall. Satisfied on my visit. Would recommend and would return.

Oh, so woke.
Where's the straight pride section? Where's the hetero end caps celebrating "normal" relationships?
I'm not against LGBT persons, but this place seems to promote everything about them and nothing about the other side. Very unbalanced.

When I walked in, immediately an employee told me he knows me from school when he was like 30. There were books thrown all over the floor in one of the isles and they had an extremely large bag full with what I assumed was dog poo and it smelled up the entire kids section. Disgusting experience.

I visited the Santee Barnes and Noble this morning and I just want to say that the employee by the name JAVIER L. was SO kind and helpful! He saw me looking at the shelf of Fruits Basket manga and immediately asked me if there was something I needed help finding and I told him what volume I was looking for, and he promptly went to the stockroom and found it for me, bringing it to me with a smile and cheery joke that made me laugh.
When I encountered him at the checkout register a few moments later, he was still so friendly and cheerful, and even informed me that I could upgrade my membership for additional discounts and happily helped me through the whole upgrade process.
Overall my experience at this store was a 10/10, Javier was a gem and the store was clean and well organized. Keep up the great work!

There store is always clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. But, the last 4 times I have been in, they did not have the title i was looking for. It is just easier to order from Amazon and have either shipped to my residence.

Lindsey was super helpful at the Santee branch. It was nice to meet someone who works at book store and also has a passion for books. I've been shopping for an electronic reader for a while and she answered all of my questions. I'm always on the hunt for a new book and new genres and she spent the time to walk me through the store and check out new selections. It was the personal touch of the shopping experience that ultimately guided my decision in getting the Nook Glowlight Plus vs. the Kindle Oasis.
I hope this review gets back to Lindsey somehow so she knows that her going the extra mile not only got me to purchase the Nook, but got me excited to read again. I'm looking forward to finishing up my current library and starting on some of her suggestions.

My son loves to go to Barnes & Noble. We love to wander through the children's section, the games & puzzles, and the discount/clearance sections. The employees are always so friendly. It's nice to be able to have a full conversation about a book, series, or other genres that are related. To talk to someone that enjoys the same types of books, and can recommend something new. To talk about how much you enjoyed a specific book. It never feels like I'm being pushed into buying something.
All in all, I love this store. My son loves this store. It's always a pleasant experience. The employees of this Santee store are so wonderful, friendly, and kind. I can guarantee we will be back there again soon!
