I brought my 9 month old puppy Marley in and it was great! I was worried since she is skittish and a rescue that she may not like the indoor part, but she loved it! The lady working was super friendly and gave us a discount since we only had an hour of play. It’s a really cool place, and you don’t have to be 21+ to use the dog park! Definitely getting a membership and will be back!

This place is awesome. I will be coming here every time I'm in Rapid City! Have a beer, hang out with friendly dogs. What more could you ask for.

Aggressive dogs are allowed inside. edit: sorry but you do. this was a while ago and we brought our corgi there and a woman brought an aggressive german shepherd that she kept on a leash but we had to leash our puppy because he was a puppy and would wander over to her dog. she said she was trying to get him used to other dogs. also there was an entire group of people there with pit bulls that they said they were trying to train and when our puppy would run around they would chase him and bite at his neck. they didn't hurt him but it was not safe and we had to leave. i'm not taking chances with my dog. we paid to be there a whole 10 mins. the first time we were there it was great but not the second time. sorry but i'm not a liar, thanks good day.

This is an amazing place! We love it and would recommend to anyone. In response to "Amber's" review...the dog in question was a puppy, much smaller than your dog, fixed, and they were "mounting" from the wrong end. You, however, had your face in a laptop, not paying attention to see the play occurring and literally stomped up to a 25 pound puppy and screamed at him three separate times. In situations like this, the humans poor behavior is dealt with in a polite and informative manner. When dogs make a mistake, they are corrected appropriately. The vast majority of the dogs and people are spectacular, there are some people who wants to cause a fuss. Don't let them scare you away!

A true gem in the Black Hills! Whether its a rainy day and your pup needs to wear off some energy, or you want to go have a drink, chat with others, and let your dog socialize, this place is it! Such a fun atmosphere and great staff that always are happy to see you! Could not recommend this place enough.

Edit: I love how the regulars are making reviews responding to mine after I was contacted to take down my review and refused because it shows an unbiased and honest experience. Now were being shamed for working and spending money at their establishment by “having face in laptop.”Unbelievable.. We shouldn’t have to correct other peoples dogs but unfortunately we did since nothing was being done about it after multiple times.
The first time we came here it was great, everyone was friendly and the dogs got along well. Can’t say the same for this time. People who have untrained dogs and can’t control them come here and it makes things stressful. One of the regulars brings their dog that is aggressive and attacks/nips others and it’s tolerated but somehow when another dog was trying to hump our female the second time correcting (owner was just watching) we yelled and “got in trouble” by a man who I don’t think even works there because he was asked if he was the owner by another fed up dog owner and said no. He told us we “didn’t have to yell and they have spray bottles for that.” Yeah, okay let me go calmly walk over and find a spray bottle that’s not easily accessible in a urgent moment (they weren’t put on the table this time) while my dog gets impregnated. What a JOKE. Will not be returning.

What a great idea! My dog travels with me on pleasure and work trips. Sometimes it is difficult to find a place where she work off her abundant energy 100% safely.
