Really enjoyed my experience at Bandaloop. The food was fantastic I had the carrot soup and wilted spinach salad as well as the Kailua fudge brownie for dessert. They were somewhat busy when I arrived and seemed to be serving a lot of tables, even midweek. So I would say to expect that and possibly make a reservation. Our food was outstanding. Our reservation was for 615 in the loft. We were seated promptly and it was fairly quiet when we started our meal. Great selection of foods, everything tasted fresh. Unfortunately the service was a 6 out of 10 at the best. We received our meals in a very timely manner but never checked in on our meals, and we didn’t get any drinks except at the beginning. We ate our entire dinner with empty glasses of drinks. I know he did get busier but even at the end of our meals he didn’t ask how the meal was at all and just handed us a dessert menu. They must have been having an off night. Food came out slow and service was just okay. The food was luke warm. Our experience in the past was always pleasant but tonight not so much.
