Service was slow. Food was quite pricey yet mediocre. I tried 2 appetizers: papaya salad and chicken satay. Both these appetizers were way too sweet to be enjoyable. The papaya salad would have been much better with some tanginess. Pathetically topping the salad were only 2 shrimps sliced in half. Chicken satay was tender, juicy, and had a nice char. However, apart from the sweetness, it was undersalted. Hence, I expected the sauce to be a savory peanut sauce to compliment the chicken but it also turned out to be overwhelmingly sweet.

First time in San Jose and trying out all kinds of food. This definitely hit the spot! We had chicken and beef satay, pineapple fried rice, galangal soup and fresh rolls. Very flavourful and big portions. The staff was also very nice and helpful when we were trying to navigate their menu. So good! We ordered roti canai for appetizer and main course was basil chicken fried rice with black pepper prawns. Both were delicious. Would come again. Gets too crowded during weekends. Slightly upper end Malaysian cuisine with tasty food. Satay chicken was juicy but lacked a bit of salt and some flavor. Black pepper chicken is as good as usual. Thought that was their best dish. But I was really impressed by their panang curry chicken sizzler. The curry was creamy and very flavorful. It's a must try. Service was ordinary. It was very hard to catch hold of a server for needs. The ambience is too noisy and pretty cramped spaces, the tables are too close by.
