Good Lao Food in a nice ambiente, also works well for mid-sized groups. A little pricier than average for the city. We had a couple of dishes on the table as well as one of the menu. All were great but I recommend to order separately and did not feel like the menu choice was the best option. VERY IMPORTANT: Spiciness 3/5 is extremely spicy, only take this if you are confident in your own tolerance of spicy food Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I think the staff is lack of training. We are family of 4 people, my boyfriend who is practicing vegetarian. We ordered the below: 2 fried rice (vegetarian) 1 chicken yellow curry 1 fried mix vegetables (vegetarian) 1 Vegetables soup with Tofu (vegetarian) Vegetable soup with tofu is recommended by the staff said they can replace pork ribs by tofu. However the Soup is served with pork ribs, we immediate tell the staff..and we heard some quarrels between the staff and the kitchen…another staff come by to ask can they remove the pork ribs and just add tofu in the soup? of cos this is not acceptable for a vegetarian. The staff that take our order said they will prepare again the soup for us. We wait awhile and the soup serve again, this time the soup serve with pork ribs and tofu together. We decided to give up changing and take it. When we have our billed..guess what..they charging us extra Laos 20000 for tofu added in the soup. The staff who passed us bill and others staff, all of them have a guilty look on their face. 【This is ridiculous!】 First the soup is served wrong, second they are charging customer extra for the staff their own mistake! Definitely a bad experience we had in laos and the dinner price is not cheap! I hope the owner see this review and please reconsider your menu “ All recipes can be prepared by tofu “ ?? Make sure all your staff and the kitchen aware of this. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Service: 1
Really enjoyed the food at the Bamboo Tree Restaurant. Everything our party ordered was delicious, fresh ingredients with a little bit of spice. Really loved the creative and colorful presentation of each dish. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great place to discover Laotian food, lunch sets were actually cheap and had big servings I had trouble finishing it all up by myself. The dimsum starters were good but my favorite is the chicken coconut soup which was sooo good. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pudding

Outstanding, best culinary experience in Luang Prabang. Located by the banks of the Nam Khan River this restaurant is a haven for those in pursuit of authentic Laotian cooking. Enchanting river views. I ordered the Kai Kua Sikay, a lemongrass chicken dish, recommended by the waiter. Each bite is an explosion of flavor, tender chicken with an aromatic blend of lemongrass, galangal, kaffir leaves and coconut milk. Perfect harmony of ingredients. The eggplant paste appetizer was also memorable. Staff friendliness and attractive setting round up an experience not to be missed in Luang Prabang. The secret food was very good, quiet comfort food. The service is good but it can take a while to be served. There are many options on the menu, a great place for those who want to experience local goods. It's more expensive than an ordinary local restaurant, but the presentation and the quantity is worth it, probably specially designed for tourists.o Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

This was the best food I tried in Laos. You can fell the love in every bite, the presentation it’s so cute and the staff it’s just lovely. Definitely no regrets about this place. Combos are really good options. They include desserts. 100% recommend.

We had dinner here and the food was incredible. I highly recommend eating here if you want an authentic taste in a quiet setting. They have a lot of traditional Lao food, and some set menus if you are not sure what to try. We opted for ordering a few things from different menus and everything was spectacular. Very well priced and tasty cocktails. We got: Stuff Lemongrass Chicken Spring rolls Secret Soup Or Lam (Pork Stew) Singapore Sling Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Recommended dishes Fried Spring Rolls

Awesome cooking class! We had such a lovely time at the morning cooking class. After a very interesting visit to the market with lots of things to try, we went a bit outside of the city center to learn how to cook Laos cuisine. The garden and „farm“ was stunning- even including a swimming pool! The food was delicious and a lot of fun. We cooked everything vegetarian- even the laap and it was delicious with Tofu. Highly recommend this place!!! Thanks again!
