This is hands down the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. I've been to a lot of great Indian restaurants and this one easily beats them all. Indescribably delicious food that's so obviously made with love. We had the butter chicken masala and the mango curry with a side of samosas cooked to perfection. Our attentive and thoughtful server was willing to answer our questions and tailor the level of spice to our tolerance. Check out the space in my pics and video. It's absolutely gorgeous. A gem in The Dalles. We will be by often in hopes that they stick around. The prices are remarkably reasonable.The only thing that made me sad was the lack of people there at lunch! 100% worth the drive.

Wow! Wish I took a photo before I ate but we gobbled it down so quick - it was so delicious. The only photo I have is of the plates scraped clean! I would have licked the bowl if I wasn’t in a public restaurant. We got the butter chicken masala and garlic naan. Mouthwatering Indian food! I got the Butter Masala Chicken; it was rich and incredibly delicious. My husband got the Chicken Biryani, and it was superb as well. The naan bread was charrred, chewy and just-right. Our order didn't take long to be brought out, either. Highly recommended!! Pay attention to their open hours, though, because they are closed for a couple hours in the middle of the day. Nice Indian restaurant down in the Dalles. They've got a ton of options on the menu and the staff si friendly. Parking is decent in the area as well. Service Dine in Price per person $50–100

Absolutely amazing! Diverse menu and delicious food. I had the butter chicken today and it was super flavorful and rich and filling. Got a side of the chili onion naan and it was absolutely amazing and different enough from traditional naan. Absolutely will be back! Stopped by after a long (beautiful) drive. My to go order went smoothly and quickly. Absolutely delicious food!! Lamb was cooked to perfection! The Mango Lassi was to die for! So smooth and not too sweet. The staff was so helpful and charismatic! Will definitely be visiting next time I'm in town. Bamba’s is wonderful! The service is warm and prompt with a nice balance of service and space. I had the goat korma which was delicious and so unique in The Gorge. We are lucky to have this delicious food available to us in the Gorge. There are many options on the menu and the ambience is mellow with calm Indian music and a fireplace. Cozy on a cold day. Great spot of a date night! The staff was friendly and the service was fast. My favorite dish was the Samosa Chaat, the chickpeas where flavorful and the samosa was crispy 😋 Also enjoyed the Mango Lassi, sweet and creamy 👌 Serving sizes were just right with plenty for leftovers!

First off I want to saw WOW! This is the first restaurant in the dalles that I have been that I genuinely couldn’t find a single thing to be upset about. Service was exceptional. Food was outstanding! Atmosphere is modest yet comfortable. Wait time for food was exceptional. Everything I encountered about this place was exceptional. We are very lucky to have this little restaurant in our little town! Definitely give it a try if you are thinking about it. You won’t be let down! Ive eaten here 6-7 times and i have not once been dissapointed with any of the dishes provided. Everytime i make a trip to the dalles, this restaurant is on my To-Do list. Ive had the different options of curry they offer and every meal was amazing. The menu is really easy to understand, the staff always answers any questions about any dish and theyre very kind and welcoming. I have yet to try any deserts because just the lunch alone fills me up and lets me leave happy.
