We had the very best experience with baked blooms for our wedding tasting! Sarah was incredible! She reached out to help us with our tasting and set up cupcakes in our wedding colors. On top of everything, when we got stuck on the bridge and we’re late to pick up- they waited and made sure we got our cupcakes! The flavors and designs were perfect! Can’t wait to order for our wedding! They made our day!
Recently ordered a Boucake for a small anniversary party — it was lovely! It had peach flower colors that were not what I wanted, but think the image I submitted may have been color adjusted so it looked more pink on my screen, but they viewed it as a certain product they did that included peach tones — so be sure to be VERY specific if there are certain colors you don’t want. Everyone thought it was gorgeous, so I was the only one to notice, lol. It was delicious, although after 24 hours, the frosting was a bit stiff (we had to order for pick up the day before since they were closed on our event day). I would order again in a heartbeat
I went to Baked Blooms for one of her cupcake decorating classes. She's clearly an expert at what she does, and she's very nice, but she's not a great teacher. While I wouldn't take another class with her, there aren't many cake decorating classes around, and her prices are comparable to other cooking classes I've taken. So, if you're really interested in learning from someone in person, it might still be worth it.
For those who want more detail:
The goal in the class is to learn 4 new decorating techniques, which is perhaps too much if your brand new, and this makes things rushed. This is exacerbated when the buttercream starts to warm. (She gives you both colors at the start of the 1.5 hour class, giving the color you don't need at first too much time to warm, which makes decorating even harder.)
There were 12 students in the class. It sounds small, but with a bunch of newbies, it means you can't really ask all your questions or get a lot of support. She is happy to help. You just might have to fight for it.
As for the teaching itself, the demos go quickly, and they're hard to see from a distance and around other students. Try to sit front and center. It would be nice if she had one of those overhead mirrors you find in some cooking classes, or if she could go more slowly. It also wouldn't hurt if she showed you a picture of where she was headed before she started.
As for the cupcakes themselves, they're better than what you'd get at Safeway, but they are surprisingly bland. Her work is absolutely lovely, but I wouldn't buy them given the taste.

Went to a cupcake decoration class there. The owner and teacher was thorough and everything was set up for a fun ladies night. She creates true works of art.

Absolutely loved Baked Blooms! We used the cupcakes as our wedding table centerpieces instead of flowers. They were a total hit! Not only were they beautiful, but delicious too!
These are a true culinary work of art. Not only would the flowers and succulents impress any florist, the cake also tastes great. All guests to our special event were impressed with the baked blooms cupcakes. Perfect way to celebrate a special occasion.
THE MOST DELICIOUS AND MOST BEAUTIFUL CUPCAKES ANYWHERE. Change my mind (happily will accept cupcakes...) These are hands-down the most spectacular cupcakes ever, AND the buttercream frosting is simply perfect (because - oh YUM, otherwise it would just be a muffin.) Went to a fundraiser where this "basket of blooms" was used as the table centerpiece/decoration, and I had NO IDEA it was dessert until someone passed me the flowers and encouraged me to pull one out. WHAAATTT?!? Even more delicious than they look, which was staggeringly spectacular. OMG will save up to buy these again! (Succulent baked blooms, I'm looking at you...)
