It started on the 24th of May 2022. As usual, i sent the office assistant to get some fresh and soft bread from Bakehouse bakery inside Oando filling station on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi Lagos. She returned with some stale bread which i immediately rejected and placed a call to the office to notify them of my displeasure. I asked for a refund, either with my cash or freshly baked bread and they initially declined. I literally had to step out to go there myself before they gave me my cash back. Fast forward to today, May 27th, same office assistant was sent and returned saying they mentioned one ZAINAB mentioned she WILL NOT SELL TO HER anymore. I initially thought it was a joke and had to go myself. On getting there, i asked to speak with the manager, who i heard her voice from the inner room. Zainab came out to LIE to me that her manager was not around. If you have any way to contact the OWNER of BAKEHOUSE BAKERY, please let the person know some staff are planning on shutting down their business with BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is because my office buys FREQUENTLY from their via our office assistant.
To me, Bakehouse has the best bread in Lagos; soft, well made and absolutely delicious. They also sell pastries (meat pies et al), drinks and cakes. Hopefully they'll open additional outlets at some point but in the interim, I'll keep making the drive to their Awolowo Road, Ikoyi location with no complaints 🙂
I visited Bakehouse the first time because I wanted to get some loaves of bread and I've not bought bread elsewhere since then.
One ALWAYS gets freshly-baked bread here.
Then one day,while getting bread I decided to get one of their snacks and wow!
You'll get the best sausage rolls and pies here for sure!!
So far, I've been very glad I discovered Bakehouse...
I missed my breakfast, got to work late, rain dealt with me and still didn't get the bread I waited for because of the poor customer service you have, I waited cause the security guard gave me assurance of helping if the rain starts but the sales rep was so blunt, after waiting for almost 25mins, rain started, I told the sales rep to assist with extra polybag so that the rain with affect the bread, she say the rule is one polybag to one bread, even when she knows the rain is very heavy!! I told her to refund my money cause I can't struggle to get transport and still get the bread wet (hoping she will change her mind), but she gladly return my money. Was really a bad experience and it was my first time
If one need good bread and cakes,this is one and only place to visit in ikoyi,vi and environments.
I already place order for the cake yesterday (9/3/2020)and they promised I will get it on Wednesday(11/11/2020) which is fair enough.
I'm one of your old customer right from obalende to awolowo road and there is one rich coffee I used to take at your openings before once in a while and we don't see that again

Because of #150 naira change they refuse to sale bread for me, I even ask the girl to keep the change for next time but she said no that she can't balance her account if she sale it like that
