What a gem on the banks of the Zambezi River. We had an absolutely delightful dinner at Baines for my birthday. Recommended to us by friends - Michelle and Gareth Jocks, Baines did not disappoint! Very tasty and well presented dishes with an extraordinary view as our backdrop and the restaurant itself is rather beautiful. Blessing, who waited on us was delightful, friendly and just a pleasure! I was also surprised with a birthday dessert and bottle of bubbly! Thank you for a memorable evening! We can highly recommend Baines to anyone visiting the Vic Falls area - N & G Antonizzi

Found this hidden gem by chance, can't believe I hadn't heard of it. The attention to detail is fantastic, the menu is great, staff was good too. I would say my best restaurant in the falls at the moment! Will definitely be recommending it! This has raised the bar in terms of standards! Thank you

It is a nice place, the cool breeze from the Zambezi river. Great food tbone steak and the Fish well done. On the menu it was written Tilapia but was served with Hake. Waiter should at least inform guest that Tilapia is out of stock you would like some Hake instead. However we had enjoyed our lunch and we call again soon

The place is is a must visit...their food is soo nice and fresh lovely service we were served by Blessing a cheerful guy ..I booked prio and found my table reserved...if you are looking for classic treatment then that the place to be ..the place is idea for both adults and kids I had gone with my girl friends and our kids we really had a great time staff and other guests sang happy birthday to me felt soo special.... Reasonable prices loved everything about it definitely going there again no doubt

Excellent! I had the fish that had a sesame beer batter crust. The crust was light and flaky, the sesame added a layer to both the texture and taste of the dish. Service was also excellent. Around when you needed them without being intrusive. i had been disappointed in the other dining experiences in town, but not with Baines. The atmosphere and view is also great.
Only in Victoria Falls area for 2 days and Bained was recommended as a place for lunch. We are so glad we were told about it. Great location, services was amazing, pricing was good and food was amazing. When you are a long way from home (Australia) having a great food experience can make a massive differences and Baines excelled
