Good food, decent teenage kid taking your money, and nice enough place. It was clean, well lit, and overall a nice place for a gas station barbecue place.

Stopped here after failing to grab a bite to eat in Lubbock, not realizing this is the 1st place to eat after over an hour and a half of driving (traveling back to the North TX area). Lesson learned.
The bbq sandwiches held a decent amount of meat but it wasn't the greatest. Meat kind of had a weird texture and the sauce just soaked thru the bun. We also tried the potato salad which was ok if you prefer the big chunk style potato salad. Not my preference though. They also offered cold sandwiches which none of us tried. You can also get okra, popcorn chicken and fried burritos. The okra was decent, the chicken was what you'd expect from a bag of Tyson and the burritos were probably the best thing they had.
It's inside Ranchland gas station so you can also grab chips and drinks as well.
Not the best experience but when you're hungry, it suffices.
