Sedap ! I love anything masak asam pedas and they nailed it here with the right tone of pedas, masam and masin. I also had the tempeh-tauhu side dish which I wish also included some anchovies. But it was good, nevertheless. Even though it was before 1pm, somehow many dishes were already not available, including ulam. This shows how good the food is here. So if you want to try Backyard Kitchen's nasi campur, go early. Else, you can order from their ala-carte menu. The best part is, the price is seriously affordable. I must come back again. 1. I went there with my mother for buka puasa and made a reservation. Went there because of a friend’s recommendation. 2. The space is cozy and environment was good. The adik waiters and waitresses were all attentive and super friendly. Service was good although there were throng of people. Surprisingly they practise the SOP religiously from my observation. 3. They serve mainly malay dishes but they also have western, thai and indonesian on the menu 4. The Sup Ekor is highly recommended but please get your physician advise before ordering a bowl. I had two! 5. Value for money and taste wise is good to me. 6. Will come back for their TomYam campur, kailan ikan masin and nasi putih! Oh they do provide a small surau so it is really convenient. 😊
Food was pretty good but definitely will not come here again because of owner bad attitude. The owner was scolding and yelling the staff in front of customers. She showing her angry face all the time. Some customers are just leaving without ordering anything. May be they change their mind. I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ The staffs are friendly and attentive. Pretty good pricing with tasty food..bihun soup is a must try... Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 1–20
Malay food is served here, lots of meat and vegetable dishes to choose from, it is nasi campur self-service style. Around 1pm+ the choices are lesser, not crowded. Parking is ample. Taste wise- okay la, prices reasonable. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Been here 3rd time. Service was kind of slow when it comes to food. The last visit was on 2/7/22 when me and my bf kind of like finished our 'Nasi Goreng Ayam Kunyit & Nasi Goreng Kg'... only then the Tomyam Seafood Soup arrived. When we said seafood the cook still gives us chicken🤦🏻‍♀️. Not only that, we hv to remind them 3-4 times for our Tomyam Seafood Soup👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Got nasi campur for 2 person for rm 9 each and rm 5 for orange juice. A great interior design marred by lackluster and bland food. I took 5 different kuah and taste almost nothing. The salted fish is overcooked, the long bean is tasteless. Overall food is ok but really not worth the price. Really backyard kitchen. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
