Listen, maybe we just ordered the right things or went on a good night, but—this was top notch. We had a few cocktails, apps, and salads. Must say… I have no notes. Just really tasty. Is it pricey? As expected, yes. Are the portions small? Sure, but again—pat for the course. We had Michaela and she was super attentive. As were the other members of the staff. Great place for a pricey date. Worth it! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Montaditos

Lets start with the positive: AMAZING creamy cheese grits Bacon rendered so perfectly that it melts in your mouth with a delicate crisp Crumble the bacon on top of the grits and call it a day! 🤤 Where I went wrong: Ricotta pancakes were awful, the cheese was lukewarm warm and sour and the pancakes were dry and lifeless. The REAL maple syrup saved the day here. I basically scrapped all the ricotta to the side and then doused the cakes with maple to make them edible. Yucca fries were very bland with confusing texture (In my opinion just cut smaller and add salt) the sauce that came with them was nice and helped “cut through the mistakes” Patatas Bravas were ok but lacked texture Coffee was weak Orange juice was good The presentation of everything was top notch, the place is absolutely gorgeous

Great atmosphere and while it didn't get me overly excited, the food was pretty decent too. The aesthetic here may lead you to believe it's pretty high-end and maybe expensive but the prices are pretty reasonable. My only real complaint was that the service was a little slow especially given that they weren't busy at all but not too bad. The dining area is open to the lobby and it has big windows, which makes it really cool. We were really impressed with our appetizers, but our pasta entrees were good, not great. At these prices, I’d expect better Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Located in the Vin Hotel Upon entry it’s not the most noticeable entryway with no immediate signage but nonetheless still beautiful and moderately intimate despite sharing an open lobby with the hotel. The atmosphere was great and refreshing. As for the meal itself it had its ups and downs The cocktail menu was great with a fair selection of craft and familiar cocktails that really relate to the nature of the boutique hotel . I decided to try Spill the Tea with the encouragement of my server. It was very reminiscent of a Long Island and very booze forward, yet still refreshing with a hint of lemon. My main course was the Ricotta Ravioli accompanied by butter poached lobster and nduja. The dish was well balanced with great acidity, and texture from the nduja and lobster, however, the lobster was very dry and over cooked which is a shame because it’s the main contributor for the price. The ravioli themselves were huge and cooked perfectly. I personally enjoyed the portion size as well. I was too full for a side dish or appetizer however there’s always room for dessert! The dessert menu was okay, it seemed to need refining, I was told some option did not correlate with their descriptions and some deserts were not preferable. I appreciated that input. I finished my meal with the ultra rich “Chocolat Bombe” a petite tempered chocolate and mousse explosion with a thin layer of cake—but sadly no crème brûlée. Great for chocolate lovers but I did feel the need to wash it down with milk or something fresh. Nonetheless, it was still delicious. The service from the staff was overall great and it’s worth a try if you’re in the area! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
Service was terrible where we ended up leaving angry and hungry. I had ordered an appetizer and pasta dish. After about 25 minutes the server brought pasta and the appetizer at the same time. I explained to him that I wanted to enjoy my first course and did not want pasta to get cold and if he can keep it warm in the kitchen. He took pasta back. I finished my first course and waited 15 minutes server never checked in on us or so I flagged down the server to bring my pasta out of the warmer. Waited another 25 minutes still no pasta. Finally I cancelled my order and we left without eating a proper meal. It seems like it’s ran by buncha amateurs but prices are like 5 star restaurant. Terrible experience. My friend had similar terrible service at a different time. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
Very nice looking restaurant with a 1920s feel great food and drinks. If you can get into the speakeasy worthy weight very cool vibe and atmosphere with excellent drinks. The bartenders that work in there are fantastic and do a great job of drink presentation! The atmosphere is nice, located in the Hotel Vin. The waitstaff is excellent and our food arrived quickly. We started with the cabbage rolls, which were delicious. The fattoush salad was fresh and had a nice flavor. The lobster ravioli and the Chilean Sea Bass with escabeche sauce, and roasted marble potatoes are so good. The affogato was a perfect dessert to end the meal. I recommend this restaurant for a special date.Update: Went there for brunch, and it was good again. The French toast was the best. The shashuka has eggs in a tomato sauce with toast on the side, and it was good too.I had a grapefruit mimosa too, perfect. Mom had the hamburger and fries and she liked it as well. They had a farmers market on main Street on Saturday, so I would recommend going there afterwards also. Or visit one of the many wine spots or art galleries while in downtown Grapevine. Terrible experience. We were there for an hour and only had a salad, pasta, and chicken (just chicken). That's because we were waiting on the waiter who was extremely slow and negligent. It took forever for him to come take our order. And forever for him to bring us our ticket. And forever for him to bring us our to go boxes. We asked for the ticket once our food arrived because we were in a hurry. Yet it was still and hour long event. Make it make sense. I got the shrimp pasta, it was extremely salty like it was supposed to be a salt flavored dish. My husband got the chicken cacciatore which was just naked chicken on a pink sauce. Nothing more. No onions. No peppers. No taste. No nothing. Wouldn't recommend. Wouldn't return. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
Came to Bacchus on a date night with the wife. We love the décor of the restaurant and the robust wine selection. The menu is on the shorter side, which is always a great sign that the quality of food is usually better. We had outstanding service from Jack and would come back. We tried several different wines and fell in love with the Arista Chardonnay and the Bravium Rose from all of our selections. The Bomba was crispy and unique, although slightly under seasoned. We also tried the Pasta Special and the Ricotta Ravioli, both were unique and outstanding. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
