Ayyanar Claypot Rice at Kluang, was our go to Indian shop since it recently opened up. As all the shops in Kluang, the quality seems to get worse every passing day! Today it took a turn for worst. I went there starving since I skipped breakfast. I and my friends ordered the Thaali Set on the menu. When our order was served, there was a very strong burnt smell. From where I came from, we don't give burnt rice to animals too. But apparently its a norm in Kluang Ayyanar Claypot Rice. I asked the waitress if she can smell the burnt smell. She replied saying the whole kitchen smells as such! I was too hungry and tired to pick a fight, hence had to eat that. The point is, I am a paying customer. I had to pay 100% of the original price and that's what I get! When it was brought up to the owner of the shop/the cashier. She pretended she didn't hear me. Its been 4 hrs since I ate the food. My hand still smells like burnt rice. Its sad when you have to stay away from home. Moreover being ignored. Not sure if that's how people in Kluang address problems though. By pretending not to hear. This will be my last trip to Ayyanar Claypot Rice.
I'm a food Blogger Malaysia. Come to Ayyanar to do a food review Reataurant environment is good.food is OK.but the service is so so bad. Very very Bad. Staff is stand in the kitchen to talking.and I press the bell to calling waitress come to order for 3 time and they are ignore me. Untill I'm wave my hand to call them. And when I going to pay my bills. Waitress is keep talking by phone.I don't know who she talking. But I am customer, make me stand in the cashier for few minute just waiting she talking the phone call.this is so bad. Service is very not professional and bad.Need to get more improved.

Service can be improved. Workers are not proactive, even for some basic things (like giving the menu to customers). The restaurant was half full when we walked in. Workers were standing around and the cashier just passed us by, ignoring our presence. We were only given the menu only when we raised our hands and waved. Thankfully, the waiter was friendly. The food is very very delicious, so I highly recommend the food.

Worst? Can't even find a worst word than that! Poor service! Slow! Ordered food and one of us waited for 50 minutes for chicken satti sooru and we cancelled it after so long waiting. Another order was Milo Ice. The waitress said will delay a while and same case, waited for 50 minutes! Happened to the beside table too. My pov for Indian cuisine lovers who hate waiting and hate poor service, don't ever step into this restaurant or you might end up having high blood pressure. After the poor encounter at the ayyanar restaurant, headed to Chinese restaurant. The lady took order and food arrived in 10 minutes and I had a satisfying meal at the Chinese restaurant. Thank you Ayyanar restaurant for the pleasant experience. #WONTEVERSTEPTOTHISPOORSERVICEINDIANRESTAURANTAGAIN😊
1st time being here. My opinion and thoughts as below. 1. As i thought and the design of the shop as thought u are in Chennai, so i was expecting the hot drink india style in tumbler, with more chai and cow milk option instead of mamak style hot drinks. But the masala tea is good 2. The bathroom door not hygiene and comfortable to open and close as no holder or to grip. All the time open and close by pressing the door and slide. With ur left hand try to open the door...😊 3. Ordered briyani chicken. Nice. But cold. At least heat it up before serving. Thank you. Hope to try again other menu in future. Latest Indian restaurant in Kluang town. Marvellous interior design, great ambience, varieties of food for breakfast, lunch, tea & dinner. Friendly and courteous staff. The price is moderate and reasonable. Very clean and well lid. Specialises in Claypot Rice of many choices. Don't miss the restaurant when you are at Kluang.
Very slow serving time. Atleast let the customer know the waiting time beforehand. Taste is okay if you're willing to wait 40 mins for drinks to be served and 1hr or more for the food.
Would not recommend to go after 8.00pm! The service is slow and no proactiveness approach from the staffs! We been there for 2 times, first time was at 9.00pm and second time at 8.00pm and there are no foods available to serve but only available chapati and parota but the restaurant operates until 10.30pm based on google info.
