Have been a frequent visitor to ayya kitchen. Very homely environment with friendly and warm staffs. Special credit to Gobu and Ananth. Always do extra miles, with their service and recommend dishes of the day. I always get what I have ordered within reasonable time. Enjoyed ayya kitchen's ice lemon juice, hot milo, and masala tea. Their chicken biriyani is also recommended. Especially with fried chicken . Good food with friendly and home environment. One of the best Indian restaurants in kulim. Yesterday also visited Aiyaa Kitchen for lunch - banana leaf meal, chicken biriyani and non vege meals. Satisfied as usual with attentive service by Gobu again. Will continue my visits. Excellent. One of the best Indian cuisines I've had in recent years. Tried the thosai, idli, chapati, banana leaf rice with multiple types of curry. Masala chai was also good. Owner is nice, friendly, and professional. Overall, satisfied with the food and service. Price is subjective. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 1–20
This was my second time visiting ayya's kitchen but my experience today was terrible. 3 of us when for lunch and Order 3 madras tea, one banana leaf meal, one mutton briyani and one vegetarian briyani. We were told that they have run out of cow's milk and had to use milk powder for the madras tea and we said okay. Unfortunately when the tea was serve there wasn't any tea taste at all as the previous taste that I had during my first visit, it was more to milk taste only. Then, the banana leaf meal was served the waiter whom served the meal wasn't sure who did order the banana meal and even after telling he did serve the banana leaf to the wrong person. He then did serve the veges and made us wait for the rice to be served, the portion of curry and papadam serve was also not worth. Only 1 papadam was serve but the did charge separately for the papadam. We order add on Fried fish for the banana leaf but the fish came half cooked. The vegetarian briyani was served with pumpkin parathal which was spoiled and we did informed the waiter on this whereby he said that they overheated the pumpkin that's why it was tasted like that. And for the mutton briyani the rice had burn smelled but the worse part was that mutton itself was spoiled. It's was totally unacceptable since we when for lunch at 1pm and it was obvious that the food wasn't cooked on that day because the food where alltoo dry and looked all. Last but not least was their cleanliness there were too much flies in the restaurant besides there was some food spilled from the fridge but was left without cleaning. Really regretted for visiting their restaurant today. This will be my last time going to ayya kitchen. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
