We tried the place for dinner.
We tried the steak both with truffles and mushroom. Very well cooked but the poatoes on the side were undercooked.
Dynamite Shrimps were perfect.
Crab salad was good.
The ambience needs some more effort. Our table was open to air, although it was an indoor one.
The entrance and the washroom were extremely hot.
The music was not comfortable. Always changing songs and repeating them.

Dynamite Shrimps
Avo Rooftop op exceeded expectations, offering a harmonious blend of delectable dishes, attentive service, and a charming atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic Italian dining experience in the heart of Saida. Avo is truly a culinary treasure, capturing the essence of Italy right here in Lebanon

🪑Ambiance: the place is located on a rooftop at the 4th floor overlooking at Eliya Square from one side with avocado plants all around the rooftop. They have indoor and outdoor seating areas in addition to a medium size room for private events
🥑The place is named adter the avocado plant; and the world Avo is related to one of the partners who is an lawyer(avocat in French) 🧑🏽⚖️
🍽 Food: we went there for lunch; wasn’t my first time trying this place, I can tell how much this place got credibly for the food it serves from the number of people visiting it
💵 Around 15-20$ per person

It is so below expectations.
The chicken was barely cooked and we had to ask them to cook it again.
The service is good but the waiters do not leave the table which is not comfortable.
The all in all experience is bad and the management should work really hard in order not to close soon.

A lost potential.
Rooftops are usually a success story, especially with such a location, but not AVO unfortunately.
The interior of the restaurant is too crowded, the chairs and tables are too big for the design itself, waiters keep bumping into you and its very uncomfortable. Tables at the view are only high chairs and very uncomfortable to sit on. Service at the terrace was terrible, we had to move inside because we didn't feel comfortable sitting at the view, the waitress inside was great, she was actually the best thing about our visit.
Food is below average, bruschetta are served on basic baguette bread, guacamole is basically avocado sauce that is used for fajitas, pizza is a disaster. They don't have ice cream, only basic cheesecake that is being served in saida since pain de mie 20 years ago, bartender prepares your drink without wearing any gloves. Oh and the complimentary before your meal, better not to serve anything, its too cheap and gives a very bad impression about what's coming next.
Great potential that is lost really.
