The food and atmosphere were great, but the service was above and beyond. I asked the server for a recommendation and she gave me a couple of options. I went with the Juevos Ranchero and they were the best I ever had. My coffee cup was never empty. I highly recommend Avery's. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Avery's Kitchen has had uniformly good food and good service every time we have been there. We have been eating breakfast there between 8 and 9am on weekends at least once per month for several years. The servers have always been friendly and attentive. The food has always been delivered hot. Our typical orders have included omelets, over medium and scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffle, French toast, chicken fried steak and corned beef hash. Avery's Kitchen has given us consistently good experiences every time. It is one of only four restaurants in the NB/SAT area we will visit for breakfast. Staff were nice, but overall the food didn’t taste fresh and seemed like it came out of a can. Also, I had one special request for removal of an ingredient due to an allergy and found that ingredient all through my omelet. Really??! If restaurants want to charge high prices, they need to back that up with quality and attention to detail.

Good place for breakfast food. We chose the place based on the pictures that were posted on the burger. However, the burger was very underwhelming and nothing like the pictures that were posted 5 years ago. I personally had chosen a combination of breakfast dishes and they were great.
