Food is nice overall, price is slightly inflated, maybe due to the tourist. Lohonko water is merely just sweet, unlike how it used to be in this street years ago.

I liked this wantan mee! 😊 Taste like ordinary wantan mee with homemade char siu but somehow there's an oomph to it 😄

High restrictions with every shop covered in scanners. Good news is plenty of parking and fast food services. Food is decent and still reasonable. Only thing is traffic from people aiming to grab parking.
Many shops have moved on as well with covid affecting business greatly.
You can get all Muar Famous Food on this street..most of them have Duitnow QR so can accept all kind of eWallet. There are 3 different stalls selling otak-otak

The uncle Ah Du who sells the lime and lemon drink is legit good! Tried and proven to be the best in the street. For 3 bottles he sells for 10 bucks. Really a punch in your mouth.
Some may not know the background of Avenue 4 name which translated from hokkien of See Bay Lor or 4th street parallel to Muar River. The road is Jalan Haji Abu and I was born here. There are only a few hawkers since the 70s but there are still may stalls worth patronising, the barbebue and roast pork rice are still excellent. Please try their sausages, it's great. The satay stalls are unique, together with the usual pork, chicken, mutton and beef, they also serve cockles, intestines and cow stomach which I love. There are braised and roast duck stalls which are popular but please try the cake, kueh stall opposite Popular book shop, their kueh are sumptuous, they replenish them several times a day
