Great food! I love Aubergine and love the food there. I usually have a good experience, but today was a busy day at the food court. Maybe that contributed? Long waits with only a few people who had ordered (I get that things take time, it just seemed a little longer than necessary), the girl who took my order did not even say a word to me. She looked at the time clock, then rolled her head over to me and stared, waiting for me to order. Even when I was checking out, it was barely as many words as were necessary to complete the transaction. It felt like I was an inconvenience and even if it was inconvenient for me to be there, the service could be much better.

That is great! The woman with the glasses working the register and helping with the food was great. The dark-haired one, however, seemed to be reluctant to help me. No smile. No “may I help you?” She’s very slowly put her gloves on, ver slowly. She then slopped my food into the bowl. No talking to me at all. No real acknowledgment: she spoke to her co-worker. She was smiley to the guy that ordered food behind me. Helped get his order done before mine. To me, she was in a bad mood. If I see her working the counter again, I’ll skip going there. It was a disappointing experience.

I don’t normally write reviews but this place deserves something! I don’t know how to begin in words how much I love this place. From the quality of food to quality of customer service, easily a 10 out of 10! The employees are always quick to help and are so friendly! Now when it comes to the food, HOLY cheese bread! Delicious! They’re better than my Brazilian grandmas! Shhh. Also little weird but all the employees are low key good looking. I don’t know if anyone else has noticed but they’re hella fine.
Today I bought a smoothie that had tiny chunks and slivers of plastic in it, about the size of fingernail clippings. The employees were apologetic and they replaced it, which I appreciate, but for such an expensive smoothie I'm disappointed. At least the replacement was delicious.

I found aubergine in the university food court a month or so ago and it's been a hot ever since. I love how filling the food is and how it makes me feel after. it's the perfect balance of healthy. today the cashier gave me a cheesebread for no reason - idk if it's a new thing, but it meant a lot, and now here I am writing this review. thanks for the free cheesebread:,)

The parable of Aubergine
PART 1
So there I was exploring the Amazon jungle when all of a sudden something terrible happened! I reached into my backpack to pull out my map when I saw it was not there! “Oh no!“ I said. I knew this could not be good. I was then stranded in the jungle!
I had to finish me shelter as the night approached quicker and quicker. After finding a home in a cave I knew I had to find substantial food or I may end up being the food of something els. I thought to myself what would be good what would be the right meal in the world of survival! But there was nothing but rocks and tree bark. “I can’t eat that I said” “how would I get energy to survive” I knew I had to get something fast. I could hear the cry of wolves hunting and the roar of tigers looking for dinner as they approached. Ants and mosquito where thinking the same. I was not going to survive I was going to die with all of the assignments and tasks and responsibilities I had to get done.
PART 2
As my hunger grew and responsibility grew even more the temptation of giving up came. But wait. No! I am a survivor I would not let this happen. I had to go out on my own to survive. I realized I had much food around me that was healthy and natural and good for you. Chickens, kale, veggies, so much more! I made a great meal. A real meal. One that I did not feel gross after eating. One that won’t just let me survive but live! It was called Aubergine!
The end
