Low-key and understated, The Atlantic Lounge is a speakeasy-adjacent bar that takes its own advice, "Don't serious yourself to death." Open to key-carrying members, the lounge specializes in quality cocktails and company. I enjoyed a #4 (Smoked Rosemary Old Fashioned) and a Sazerac, prepared expertly by Jacob. After 3 years before COVID I finally just got my key! My wife and I have been going downtown visiting restaurant and places like this that are just Raliegh cool..

This is a super cool speakeasy. Couldn't even find the entrance without help. But, once we were in they had a really cool cocktail menu and the music was on point.

Sadly, their cocktails have become mundane, without the flavor in the description. Their wine has probably sat for 3 days, too. Very disappointing and different than when they opened.
