This is sad news as my family have frequently done takeout from Astoria even after the new ownership. We have always gotten the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the garlic chicken Alfredo pizza. My family and I have loved it but, sadly today was not one of those days. While eating the pasta, I found a piece of plastic in the pasta and the pizza dough was under cooked. This is Greek style pizza the way I remember it where I grew up in Connecticut outside New York City. They could probably use a little less cheese but it’s about as good as it’s going to get in Washington state for that style of pizza. Glad I found it. Also, for the amount of food that I came home with the price was quite reasonable. really makes me wonder why anybody would order chain pizza which is not that cheap and it’s garbage. I freaking love this place. Such good food, they are so nice. Just feels like there is a lot of care put into everything they serve. Their pizza is amazing and cheesy and flavorful. Their pasta is delicious. Their breadsticks are beyond delicious. Love that they use their own in house delivery drivers. A little pricey but I don't feel like it's just to get more money out of you but because they actually use fresh delicious ingredients. Can't recommend this place enough. This local joint has been a family favorite of ours for 10+ years. The food is delicious with unbeatable prices, and the atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. Back when we used to host large family gatherings, Astoria was our go-to. Even now, my parents and I still love to visit for their pizza/pastas! We chose Astoria Pizza tonight because we saw it had a high rating (4.7) My wife is from Chicago and loves great pizza. We ordered the 14" Sweet and Spicy pizza ~ pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeños (pickled), mozzarella & tomato sauce. I am from Tampa Florida come here for business and found Astoria Pizza one afternoon buying lunch for the guys I work with and the pizza was awesome we got the meat lovers Pizza and the house man both of them were very good. I've been back two more times to get pizza it's the best in Lynnwood. Prices were good, food is great, portions are ginormous!! Fettuccini chicken Alfredo was best my wife has had in a long time, portion was big enough to feed two hungry adults. My lasagna with meat sauce was great but was technically more of a “pasta bake,” but delicious nonetheless. $4 beer specials, $6 generous glasses of Australian wine. Side salads were iceberg, shredded mozzarella, black olives, and tomatoes. Homemade salad dressings are above average. Only points off is for styrofoam to-go container (booo!!). We traveled from Portland to play in a softball game, so this was our first experience ever at Astoria. Wow!! This place exceeded expectations. Top 3 Pizza of all time if not the best. I had the chicken pesto with feta and mozzarella with Sun dries tomatoes. I was only able to finish half of the 12" medium pizza. The left overs are in the attached pictures below.
