This store is has a lot of the different variety asians grocery items. We come here to get the dumplings, which they have many different types of. The restaurant that's attached has pretty good food option as well.
Thanks to the recommendation from "Eating out with Jeff Jones", a Tupelo, MS *paid* food reviewer, we gave them a try on Saturday night. They obviously rolled out the red carpet for Mr. Jones. We had the EXACT OPPOSITE treatment tonight. Will NEVER be back to this joke of a place. Arrival time of 8:10pm tonight. Family of 5 to try the buffet. Food was pretty low at arrival but that’s typical of any place that has food out. You get customers, you freshen up some of the main items. Not here. We all go through the line and get very small portions expecting some things to get refreshed. Basics…. Rice, Lo Mein, general Tso chicken, etc. 8:20 pm, the cashier and the 2 cooks in the back, all come through and make plates of food for themselves and go to the back. 8:30 pm, I approached the bar and asked the cashier if they were going to bring anything else out. She stone cold said “no, we close at 8:45”. I told her the door said 930 and it was only 830. She said “the owner says the bar closes at 8:45”. I asked her why she didn’t tell us when we got here that they weren’t going to bring anything else out as we would have gladly went somewhere else tonight and came back a different night to try this place. Her response was, “Well, did you ASK?” We shouldn’t have to “ask”. We are your customers….your GUESTS. You should let someone know that the kitchen is closed almost 1.5 hours before your posted hours. I also told her that, if they knew they weren’t going to serve any more food, the employees should not have come through and filled their plates, leaving dried scraps behind. A person that was not the manager but told me she was “the person most qualified to answer my questions” came to speak with me as we were packing up. She was of no help, no offer to make any further food or anything. Just echoed “the owner did tell them to shut the bar down at 845”. I told her to let the owner know they just lost 5 customers over something as stupid as poor customer service and a cashier’s smart mouth.
Came by around lunch and ordered a buffet to go. The employee at the front was so kind and accommodating. The food was also delicious and the price is great and cheap. Can't wait to come back and try some stuff from the menu and explore the market next door!

Buffet was all cold! Chicken was rock hard wasted 50 dollars on a good mango tea :( if I come back I will get an entree so I know it was just cooked and fresh! Hope my family and I don’t get food poisoning! Or I am suing!

This was the first time we visited here. We really enjoyed seeing all the difference in culture, the food and options for all the many recipes that I would love to learn how to cook. This is definitely a place to come if you're looking for Asian groceries to cook a good meal. We also tried boba tea. It was actually pretty good. We will be back to try my hand at cooking. So excited to jump in and try new things.

I have visited the store in the past for items I needed to cook, but today, I was in the store and they had an item stocked above the wrong price. I asked about the item b/c the box wasn't full, so I wanted to know if that was the reason why the item was priced as it was. I was told that it was put there for stocking purposes and that I need to read the tags. After speaking with Kevin, he claimed that he likes to keep his shelves stocked in that matter for ordering and stocking purposes. He then went on to say that if a customer wants to purchase a full box, they have to pay $16+. After hearing this ridiculous explanation as to why they stock items this way, I decided to put back all of my other items. I will travel elsewhere or order online to get the items I need going forward.

This place was magnificent. Normally I have to drive 120 mi to the Asian market. Well this place called me off guard because it's in Tupelo Mississippi. The produce was nice and fresh. They did not have the huge selection like you would find it some other Asian markets but nonetheless it had everything I needed to do exactly what I needed to do. And I didn't have to drive 4 hours to get there and back. I found a stalk of sugarcane there as well as a lot of rambutan, Lucci and a lot of other wonderful Asian fruits. I recommend this place to anyone in the Tupelo or the north Alabama area.

Wife got the buffet to go and she love it! Plan on the whole family going back and trying it out! The place is small but the bar was fresh! Not A big bar but had high quality food on it! Dessert was kind of lacking. Went back Friday and got the buffet dine in and it was good! They also brought out fresh food to put on the buffet!
It was odd, but also unique and interesting. I'm pretty sure the helpful employee got tired of all my questions, but I had so many questions about the items pictured with this post.

They had a lot of the stuff that's used in asian cooking that can be hard to find elsewhere. Frozen and prepackaged foods, cookware, and even a small fresh seafood counter. Lots of neat Asian candies and stuff, too. The restaurant hadnt opened yet when we were there, but signs say it will open Aug 1.
