I was not a fan of this place. I had calamari, sushi, and miso soup. I thought the calamari tasted cheap and frozen. It was thick and not to par with typical Japanese ika rings. The sushi was the only good part, but it wasn't anything special. Their miso soup is fine. The service was okay. It was quite empty, and there were a few workers standing around. It felt odd. The whole atmosphere seemed cheap, which I guess is what I should have expected from a sushi place in a strip mall next to a dollar store. I personally won't be going back. If you're looking for sushi, it's not terrible, and there aren't many spots in the area for it. Back when the previous owners owned it the fish was always fresh and the food was better than any sushi place near by. I really missed the old owners, as they always did such and amazing job with the food and for such a good price. The first day the new owners opened the place the food was just as good and I was really happy with the service. Yet lately the crab rangoons are always stale, the fish isn't fresh, and mango is as hard as a rock. When I first addressed it they offered me a free meal the next time I went. When I went back they honor the deal but the food was still bad & unfortunately decided to not go back for awhile. Today I decided to give it one last chance & the Crab rangoons were still stale.
