I'm very glad we're not in walking distance of ABP... the temptation would be too strong :) The pastries we took to go and breakfast we ate on site were, plainly, amazing.

Nice little eatery on the main street of Media. They have a small food menu consisting of breakfast and lunch sandwiches along with coffee. I had the ham egg and cheese on a croissant and it was really tasty. I forget the name of the dessert in the picture but it consisted of a sweet waffle with cream and raspberries. Definitely a nice place to stop by for a good sandwich and treat.
I cannot say enough good things about this patisserie. I had a "croffle," which tastes like a croissant cooked in a waffle press, with peaches and cream on top. The execution is perfect. Light. It was definitely a dessert but avoided being cloyingly sweet - no glaze or Belgian sugar to distract from the croissant dough. The pain au chocolat was flaky and well laminated, though may be crispier first thing in the morning (I was there for an evening event). I would highly recommend Artisan Boulanger Patissier. Well worth the stop!
I cannot say enough good things about this bakery and the lovely family who owns it. Outstanding pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Their banh mi sandwiches are excellent. I wish they had a bigger menu! Coffee drinks have been fantastic. All the above served by a delightful counter team. My 7yo son and I love this place!
