I ordered an espresso and the girls charged me the $6 for a double shot, then proceeded to pour me a drip coffee that tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. When I took it back to the counter and said “this isn’t a latte?” The three of them all looked at eachother and said “I didn’t make a latte? Did you make a latte?” “I didn’t make one either? Did you make one?”. So they took the drink back and proceeded to make the thing I paid $6 for. Fast forward 10 minutes and I was given a barely passable latte. The milk foam was the most poorly steamed milk I had ever had. It had 3 cm bubbles in it and reminded me of the dirty huge soap bubbles that come off the side of a car tire while it’s being cleaned in an auto wash. The espresso was ok in quality, not being to bitter, but the lack of care of the young worker when preparing the drink made for a sub par barley passable latte despite the fact that she was operating a $10,000 espresso machine. Was a real bummer.
