Starting with a fried egg instead of a raw yolk on top of the (otherwise tasty) okonomiyaki, the sushi pieces featured soggy nori, fish bones (which happens but it was a BIG one), and rice that fell apart when dipped in soy. Caramel fondant for desert that was tough and chewy, it basically lifted with my spoon as I tried to cut it. Accompanying it was what probably is the cheapest strawberry ice cream you can find in a grocery shop. Cocktail was 70% ice.
Gorgeous place but definitely not worth the price tag. We paid 92€ for two people.

The restaurant has a great location, right by the beach. The staff were really amazing! Super friendly and helpful! I enjoyed the sushi but I must say it was not the best I had... All in all, I will definetly go back!

Great location on the beach. Large portions so make sure to share the starters etc. We had the Japanese pancake (lots of seafood topping), takoyaki, tuna tartare (very large) and a temaki roll. Note: the name on Google and the restaurant is not the same! See photo

The sushi was great. The steak (Bife à Armazém) was even better. The only reason we even tried meat in this restaurant is that we are considering the space for an event, but we were magnificently surprised.
Don’t be afraid to take your friends-who-don’t-like-sushi there!

Basically, this place has liitle to do with sushi, and 2 stars are just for a perfect location in front of the ocean. Even such a basic component as rice is not good. Also lack of staff. Kanpai in Douro Marina is completely different, though the same chain. How is it possible?
View and style of the place- awesome!
Food- very good, but no menu in english and waiters not able to translate. Service-we have experienced very poor service, felt ignored, did not get apetizer, while other customers in the restaurant during next 2 hours got it, plus we had to pure wine by ourselves, while rest local crowd got it done by waiters. Most probably staff just does not speak English good enough and was trying to avoid our table.
In addition, working hours listed on internet are wrong. Instead they worked only from 12 to 3 pm both days we were visiting.
