Nice dinner out at Aranda's. The chips and salsa were a great start. Margs are strong and hit the mark. Entrées were quick to arrive at the table. The fajitas were enough for two people and sizzling upon arrival to the table. Efficient service and will be back to try more on the expansive menu! Food is average at best. The chips & salsa were great, everything else was blah. Chicken fajitas were dry. Our nachos were soggy with a big puddle of liquid at the bottom. Same with the quesadilla. Not much flavor to the enchiladas. Took them a half hour to finally take our order. Never once came back to check on us to see how the food was or to see if we needed drink refills. Came for lunch and discovered a hidden gem in Deforest. Great salsa! Huge portions for the lunch specials and quick too! I would have to say it is a new Mexican favorite for me and the fam! I’m glad I stopped in! I’ve been looking for a decent Tex-mex restaurant in the DeForest area and I think I found it. I came pretty late in the evening (after 9pm). I was promptly greeted and seated. Free chips and salsa was provided. I ordered the three taco dinner: pastor, steak, chicken. I tend to stay away from steak tacos because I always get rubbery/tough meat. The steak I had was tender and flavorful. Best steak taco that I’ve had from a chain restaurant in a while. The pastor and chicken tacos were also delicious. i came here on a saturday around 4pm, was not too busy, got in and had their "chile verde" dinner, this was the best mexican food i have had in the Madison area!!!! excellent!! will keep going back, by the time we had finished eating the place was super packed with a small wait line, speaks to how good the food is, you def need to try it out!!!! Update couple months have past - still nothing better, this is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the Madison metro area.

Great food, reasonably priced! The restaurant is open and spacious. Great place for lunch or dinner. Another great lunch visit! Try the Lunch beef/chicken fajitas! Yum! Great service!
