Costly but worthy
Enjoyed our lunch at Arabesque. Tried multiple items but Shish Tawouk stood out. Note to owner: we found falafel to be quite salty. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Vegetarian

The appetizer plate rarely fails to satisfy, though this most recent experience, the Babaganoush was so overwhelming with garlic that my mouth was on fire. That's extreme, as I love garlic. One of my guests had the special, which included Lamb Meatballs. He said those were hard and chewy. Out of character for myself, I ordered something not typical of my usual dining experience in a Lebanese eatery: Fettuccine Alfredo. I was quickly reminded of the old adage to never order outside of the type of restaurant. The pasta was cooked to perfection, but the Alfredo sauce had an underlying hint of lemon that could not be overtaken by any seasoning. Never, ever in my life have experienced Alfredo sauce that starts with warm and creamy, and ends with citrus, acidic tase on the tongue that lasts too long for comfort. Service was excellent, as always. Atmosphere: excellent, as always!! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
