My husband and I really enjoyed our visit. We went for a late dinner and enjoyed some half priced appetizers and drinks. The food was delicious and expertly cooked. Our waiter was knowledgeable and nice, overall we had a great time and we will be back! Our sit down meal was great, however we ordered chicken lime nachos to go. When we got home the chicken wasn't in the bag. We live 25 miles from the Wyomissing Pa location. We called them and they apologized and are supposedly sending a gift card. Was disappointing to get home and find the protein missing. The Waitress Lisette and the Manager Edwin are absolutely amazing! This is by far the best Applebee's 🍎 in the Reading area. The restaurant was sparkling clean, the food was on point and the staff was extremely friendly! I will definitely be back in the future, definitely ask for Lisette as your server 😁 And Edwin was definitely the nicest manager I have ever had the experience of speaking to in any food establishment. The staff was wonderful, any time you need two highchairs at one table waitstaff shivers. And you'd better believe one of the kids tossed their apple juice on the floor (yeah, they were scolded!) Everyone was so gracious. 3 of the 4 of us ordered a few of the holiday drinks, they were ok at best. It was like the bartender filled the straw with booze and mixed it in so the first few sips tasted like an adult beverage and the rest was just a sugary slushy. And we didn't get the garnish in the photos. Unfortunately, I was at the very beginning of a very serious viral infection and I wasn't able to taste much of anything. It also unfortunately didn't stay in my system very long...I'm the only one who was ill so I'm sure it was me and not the kitchen. This was overall a good experience and I'm sure I would have enjoyed it more had I not been feeling like death. Very good experience. With restaurants opening back up for inside dining we were a little reluctant. The staff was very good with wearing masks and gloves during the entire meal. There was plastic and cardboard dividers between all touching booths/tables. Silverware comes in a plastic bag so it is not directly touched after being washed. The menu was smaller but still had a great selection.
