What a beautiful experience ❤️ 🍲 We were passing through on our way to North Carolina and we wanted to try something unique, locally owned and new. We used Google maps to see what was coming up on our map and saw Ansonia Soup and knew we wanted to try it. We ordered 4 sandwiches, 3 soups and a salad 🥗 we were given 5 pumpkin doughnuts 🍩 as a complimentary gift ❤️ All soups were matched with fresh baked focaccia bread that have fresh herbs in it. Monica (the owner) was such a wonderful human and her story is inspiring❤️ Soup and sandwiches are one of the best lunches in my opinion 😋 and the sandwiches and soups here were marvelous. We ordered 2 grilled cheese dippers for our kiddos matched with 2 summer squash soups. My husband and I ordered the large chicken curry soup, it was smooth, elegant and flavorful. We matched the soup with the Wygelia and the Moore sandwiches. The Wygelia was very tasty and robust. The Moore was flavorful and packed with tasty meat and the pickle gave it a burst of extra flavor. I also ordered a carbonara pasta salad with the housemade balsamic Dijon vinaigrette. Absolutely stunning! We will be returning when we travel again to NC. The additional awesomeness of this place is they are dietary friendly for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free! AND they bake their own bread with a wide variety of choices! Thank you Monica, it was an absolute Pleasure to meet you ❤️🫂 We absolutely would recommend anyone trying this locally owned gem. My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on a return trip from the Lowcountry. We were immediately impressed with the staff and the creative menu in this uptown gem. Both of us chose the Cauliflower and Roasted Pear with two cheese soup. It was hearty and served with the most flavorful focaccia baked in house. The menu also featured salads and innovative paninis. The Black Forest cake hit all the right notes. This is a must stop destination when traveling along along Hwy 74 or Hwy 52. Wadesboro is so fortunate to have this quality establishment. Thanks Monica for a wonderful experience. We'll make the 40 minute drive from home to dine with you again soon. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Proud to say I am a regular! Delicious soup, sandwiches, salads, breads, and desserts! Menu changes (soups and sandwiches) every quarter and desserts (cookies, cakes, tortes, and more) vary daily. Do yourself a favor and stop in, you will not be disappointed! They will let you sample soups, just ask and if you can’t pick a favorite they have soup flights! Chef Monica and her team are fantastic! Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I've lived only a few miles from Wadesboro for 3.5 years. For some reason, I only just heard about Ansonia Soup Company this past week. I have been stalking their Facebook page and website for the past few days, anxiously awaiting their opening at 11am today (Saturday). All I can say is, omgoodness, absolutely phenomenal! I placed a pretty big order, two bowls, a flight (smaller servings of three different soups), a panini, a loaf of garlic goat cheese bread and blueberry crumble. It's my plan to eat on it all weekend. Well . . . I get home, take a bite or two of each soup, eat 1/2 of the panini, try a bite of blueberry crumple, try a slice of bread. I'm absolutely stuffed! Do I want to stop? No. Do I have to stop eating? Yes! There's no more room in my belly! The consolation in stopping now is, I have plenty for snack and dinner. EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING is absolutely delicious, flavorful, great ingredients. Not only that, but the atmosphere there is so welcoming. Monica seems to know and welcome everyone, whether you're a regular or brand new like I was. A caring, cozy environment. Today was my first time going, but will definitely NOT be the last time. Heck, I may even go tomorrow for tomorrow's special 🤣, and there are other paninis that I want to try. Highly recommend! A little gem nestled in downtown/uptown Wadesboro 💎. I have been a regular customer at this gem of a restaurant since it opened. The food is unique, delicious, well priced, and designed to go well with each season. While some aspects of the menu stay the same for the quarter, others change out daily. Between the options I know to expect and Chef Monica constantly trying out new ideas, I never get bored with the menu. Monica has even gotten me to eat and enjoy things I was wasn't so sure about trying. When they are on the menu, the Hungarian Mushroom soup, tomato-ricotta tarts, and Burmese chicken soup are to die for. The best way I can describe the atmosphere of the place is "Reading Rainbow for Adults." The furniture and art are colorful and eclectic without becoming overwhelming. The owner and staff are usually upbeat and friendly. For me, each visit feels like being welcomed into the kitchen of fun friend. Most importantly to me, Monica (the owner) and the rest of the staff are kind, caring, and fun people who make a point of giving back to the community. They work together with other area businesses, host and/or donate to various charitable organizations, and do their best to be kind to everyone who walks through the door. I am so glad to have Ansonia Soup Company here in Wadesboro. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We drive through Wadesboro all the time but typically just go to the same typical fast food places along 74. Happy to have found this place for a quick meal only a block off of our route. Simple but very fresh, good food, good service, and overall very pleasant stop. Will definitely be back. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Driving from Lumberton to Charlotte we stoped at this restaurant for lunch. The soup was absolutely amazing and the staff were so friendly I would give them a 10 out of 5 for service if I could. I cannot recommend this place enough. Visiting from Canada I can say this was one of the highlights of our trip. Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ansonia Soup Company is simply the best. I had the summer Cobb salad and with each bite I could taste the freshness and feel the love that went into the food I ate. The owner shared her mission to give back to the community with this restaurant, and she is crushing it. Food is a love language and The Soup Company is completely fluent!!
