The food has been great, every time I've gone! My faves are the jerk wings, turkey, cabbage, greens, & sweet potatoes, although I've enjoyed everything I've tried so far. I had the peach cobbler here for the first time recently, and it was amazing! The breading was perfect! Just make sure that you go early before they run out of menu items! The line order has improved, but the parking lot can be packed (as well as the restaurant). This is a "To-go" spot- no seating indoors.

Collard Greens with Smoked Turkey
The cashier and the servers were very nice and sweet, I got the turkey leg dinner with Mac and cheese and greens. The Mac and cheese was so creamy and cheesy, the greens were very well seasoned. The turkey leg was fall of the bone goodness. I also had the peach cobbler it was sweet and lovely. 10/10 every thing was so delicious, the cornbread muffin was a little dry but it didn't take away from the meal. My bf got the catfish meal with yams and mac and cheese. The fish was perfectly fried and flaky and the yams were the perfect amount of sweet. Angeleas was a very good experience!

Peach Cobbler
Absolutely obsessed with the food. We got the turkey legs, mac n cheese, cabbage, AND the smothered chicken! My in laws live in Louisiana and this food brought me right back to their home. Everything tasted phenomenal. The portions were HUGE and flavor was just right! We'll definitely be back. Thanks Keisha and Tamerica for welcoming us! Laughs and smiles mean alot and go a long way.

I was hesitant to get food due to some bad reviews, but I’m so glad I did! The bbq ribs, Mac and cheese and collard greens were all amazing! So much flavor! The peach cobbler tasted more like candied yams but still pretty darn good! It was pricey but worth it! I made 2 meals out of it. Best $32 spent I’ve spent on food so far!

Peach Cobbler
FANTASTIC!!! Reminds of my childhood growing up . Had to wait in line around hour but i didnt mind with food of this caliber! I didnt like the cornbread it was very dry but prob just a bad day . Amazing sides . Had the Catfish, yams and cabbage and my wife had Smoked Turkey Leg , greens, mac a cheese! And the Kool aid by the container was awesome!

It’s a bit pricey but it is absolutely worth it!
The staff is super friendly!
The food is AMAZING! I got the jerk chicken with a side of Mac and a side of greens and also a second plate with ribs and two sides of cabbage. Both plates came with corn bread that was absolutely perfect!
The Peach cobbler is a must have! (Didn’t get a pic it was gone before I took a moment to breathe)

Traveled 30 mins to come here! First time here, service could've been better. One lady was tackling the line & orders, took about 10-15 mins to get in & out.
Food was great, no complaints, great portion!
Price was a little bit much, I paid 28$ for this, BBQ ribs that comes w. 2 sides and a corn bread (24$) Koolaid was 2$.

When I saw the line of people outside the store when we pulled up I knew we were in the right place. The smells everytime the door opened and the anticipation of getting inside were almost more than I could take. I haven't been this excited about takeout since I was in Mississippi. We ordered the catfish, turkey leg, BBQ ribs, jerk wings, collards, Mac and cheese, yams, beans, cabbage, and peach cobbler. Not.a.single.thing.was.wasted!! Everything was so delicious!! Loved the peach cobbler so much (I ate it in the dark, in my bed). Can't wait to come back. We didn't get pictures because we all ate it so quickly.

Candy Yams and Mac and Cheese
Ran here on my lunch break during the work week: This place is off the chain!! Some of the best soul food I've had in the state of Minnesota. The Mac N Cheese is sooo cheesy and good and the jerk chicken is just right!! I'm ultra picky when it comes to my soul food, especially my greens, and they did those greens justice!! Very enjoyable. I'll be returning with my family next time.

Best food in town. The prices might turn some folks off but trust me, you're likely getting more than one meal out of your order.
Does the food take a little time to get? Yes, but you are getting it with honest to good quality and FRESH. Have only been here twice so far but only because I don't live closer.
Get here more than a half hour to closing cuz once the run out of a dish it is out.
