Delicious food, smart presentation, good wine list. They understand proper sear on salmon. Every dish has rich flavors and textures. Really well done, so there's a lot to talk about. Many people come here on dates and it's a great place for that. The squash dessert is amazing -- not savory but not too sweet and with a lot of complexity. To top it off, the staff is friendly and the service attentive without hovering. It's the best kind of "feeling at home" -- that's hospitality. My first time here - went with friends - great atmosphere and ambiance. Not too many seats indoors - but offers that intimate feel. Service is good too. But food is ok, esp for the price it charges. The guy who manages the place is a little pushy and has a little attitude - would be good to have a person that genuinely cares about people! Anyway, I ordered a veggie moussaka (and I've had this dish multiple times at multiple places) and I have to say this may be the worst veggie moussaka I've ever had. The eggplant was chewy, some of the veggies were undercooked and the tomato sauce was flavorless (that straight out of the can taste!). Also ordered by the group were "Alexander's Favorite" and chicken shish kabab - and again, no one was too impressed i.e it was ok, nothing to brag about. Eggplant with tomato sauce for the appetizer was decent and the Turkish coffee was good too. Also on the positive side, most wines are reasonably priced (if you order a bottle) unlike other restaurants on CA Ave. Overall it was ok - food was a little underwhelming - will definitely not go back by choice. And if I do it might only be for wine and apps. Good luck! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Turkish Coffe

Ended up getting the beef kabobs and they were tender juicy and had a very wonderful flavor! They just melted right in your mouth. The staff was very outgoing and friendly! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The staff was fantastic. Did a great job of providing friendly service without hovering. Gave us some distance while they saw we were having discussions. Really appreciated them. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
