This is a well organized and clean bakery, the employees are always in the mood to serve and the bread and pastries are is one of the bests I ever had, whenever I am visiting my mom in Añasco I have to make this stop.
Came to eat a sandwich at 1pm they told me they stop selling sandwiches at 1 pm. That is crazy they have a very clean place and well lite up sign of the sandwiches they make unable to eat one. People are lazy. Sat to drink my OJ and dream about the sandwich while I wait for my elderly mother at Doctors office. Waist of my time and walk.
First time there. Their french bread (pan largo de agua) was so delicious and fresh. The coffee was good too. There is a great variety of pastries. Will return for fresh bread.
I tried they're signature cake Hojaldre Añasqueña.
While the spicing and flavor were nice, the cake was stale. I know that we have different cultural expectations, but this stale cake had a sales expiration dates TWO WEEKS in the future!
I'm guessing they make this cake once per month??
It makes me sad that 'fresh baked' is just not a thing here. Often "fresh" desserts here are weeks old!
You get fresher baked goods at supermarkets.
