A terrible meal, dreadful service and a lovely location. We booked a table and were told that the only slot was 1945. We therefore were surprised to see only one table occupied. We then waited 20 mins for drinks. We had to ask to order! Despite an interesting menu, we were told that our 3 first choices were not available Another 25 mins before we got the (cold) starters. The dishes did not correspond to the description, for example the carpaccio of octopus was not thin slices but a tentacle cut into chunks. When we asked for dessert there was none, we were offered fruit.

The location is wonderful overlooking the harbour and the sea - perfect sunsets. The staff are great. The music, dire: techno/disco totally out of context with the clientele. The food average, overcooked and therefore poor value.
Management obviously hasn’t worked out a business model. This restaurant has enormous unrealised potential. What a waste! What a shame!

Amura exceeded all expectations, delivering an unforgettable dining experience.
My partner and I didn’t know what to expect from this place as we found it just wondering around the marina. I want to express my gratitude to the Brazilian gentleman (whose name escapes me) for graciously offering us a flyer and treating us to a free drink, setting the tone for a delightful evening. It's these little gestures that make a big difference!
The service at Amura was top-notch, and all credit goes to our waiter, Rafael. He went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. He offered excellent recommendations from the menu, which turned out to be delicious. He also brought out a live crab for us to touch and hold - it was a first for me, but made the experience all the more memorable.
Amura is a gem in Faro, offering ambiance, breathtaking views, and outstanding service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to create beautiful memories with their loved ones.

Great rooftop balcony for lunch. Had grilled shrimps with a selection of breads, spreads and olives, washed down with a small beer - delicious. Rafael, the waiter, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
