Fun, great food, European type of service, and a really fun atmosphere. Love the French Onion soup on a cold night. Only complaint, their baguette is quite expensive, though absolutely delicious and served with really great butter. Wine is priced in line with most restaurants in Marin, so not ordering a lot of wine during our visits. Would highly recommend Amélie. My husband went to this restaurant and told me that this restaurant had very good bread but he didn’t have much of other food. So we went there for dinner and it was true, their bread was superb. Other food was delicious as well. The Chardonnay we had was awesome. Our waiter was nice. We sat outside since we had our dog with us but saw that there were quite many people inside. We didn’t try their dessert because we were full from yummy food so we’ll do next time! The French onion soup was delectable. The vibe is very French bistro and cozy. One of the few places one can sit alone and enjoy dinner and the view. There was a friendly face replenishing water, asking how our dinner was. Come to find, it was the chef who likes to hear first hand from the diners how their experience is. Nice wine list as well.
