New favorite place! Recommended by a friend, met two friends for dinner - great atmosphere, nice people, delicious food - and the staples have their own spin. Especially loved the pita bread and that blended icy fresh lemon drink! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fattoush Salad

Amazing ambiance, yummy food. I got mixed kabab platter! Meat was so tender! Great portions! Easily shareable. Appetizer platter is also very yummy. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great Syrian food. Always have to make a special trip here for some good Syrian food. Quite a few good items from the menu here but there are a couple which could be better. Tip amount though should be based on total before taxes and not after taxes which is not the case here. I went to your new location in Newport Beach. In all honesty the meat quality was pretty bad. The meat was brown in color when it was pulled out of refrigerator. I had to immediately cancel that order when I saw the quality of meat being used. Didn’t look fresh at all. The salad drawing was really off too. Didn’t have proper olive oil, lemon, and mint kick to it. Rice was average at best also. Seems like the only way to get high quality beef is to go to a Japanese or Korean BBQ place where they use prime beef and prime Wagyu. No brown meat comes to you from there and you can see the marblings from the beef there but having a middle eastern background myself I can sort of understand how the majority of the middle easterners either wouldn’t know or appreciate the difference in quality as to them quantity comes first. I have been to many middle eastern restaurants but unfortunately I have yet to find one that can match the beef standards served in either a Korean and Japanese BBQ beef restaurant. Second part of review is for new location Food: 3
