Everyone is very nice and it seems to be the only place I can buy old fashioned lemon drops
Wonderful store. Nice employees who are trying their best with a rough economy. Seems like nobody wants to work anymore. I appreciate all the employees at Albertsons!
I cannot buy produce that doesn't rot within days, nor can I pick produce without finding mold or rot. After demanding fresh oranges from the back they begrudgingly grabbed some after insinuating first in first out. Got new for you, I'm a chef, and that only applies to restaurants where we do not have insurance to cover our waste and we have to actually stock inventory based on business not failed projections of business coming back to a declining store. You know this is why customers are going elsewhere right?. Produce should last a MINIMUM of one week. If the produce is that old, and there is fresh that arrived that day your customers have the right to pick the fresh stuff. Seeing only two gallons of chocolate milk marked sell by "today's date" when I can see a pallet of fresh milk behind the shelves. This is low. Management is depriving sales of fresh food products until they move the old ones first, therefore preventing someone from grabbing the fresh jug from behind the old one, which lets face it, if people are buying the product then there is literally nothing wrong with that besides some illogical manager making weird decisions based on their time spent in Irrationallandia... Food doesn't work that way and multi-day expired meat on the shelves is really not a good look anywhere. Last gripe, it is sooooo easy to cut a straight steak. So why the hell are my choices two inches on one side and one inch on the other? Way to guarantee that the customer cannot cook this evenly unless they butcher a steak that they paid extra only to have a "professional" 'butcher' the job. Beef isn't cheap, I deserve an even mid rare for my money, not less than blue rare on half (raw) leather on the other side (makes well done look moist) and burnt on all sides because the necessary amount of heat required to sear the meat will burn the sides before cooking the huge unproperly butchered side. Quality has dropped below walmart on this one. And no one there even seems to know enough about how to cook food to understand why these are all problems. Although it boils down to shady business and ripping off customers to move more product. I'll make a point of bringing every perish to the customer service desk from now on, though unlike those getting paid to not do it I will do it for free because it is disgusting that you would ever consider selling it in the first place. *UPDATE* After talking to a couple lower level employees the disturbing reality is that they have been so understaffed and yet overworked at the same time that most don't even get to take breaks and are told to just deal with it? No wonder morale is so low there. Another young lady was iffy to speak before stating she is literally scared of her store manager since she needs to keep her job and he is intimidating? What the f*** is going on around here? The store manager has been telling them that since no one says they cannot take one that it isn't a break violation. It is your job to make sure they get to take their breaks. Period. Being called out on abusive tactics and then responding with "I'm sorry you feel that way" or "just deal with it like everyone else" are literally gaslighting statements. Hence why most women who work there feel too afraid to speak up due to the abusive brush offs by their male bosses. Only one employee stated his name for fear of ramifications. Pretty low Mark. Additionally, telling an employee that they need to choose between their marriage and their job is the type of thing you would expect to hear from a multidivorced absentee parent. Not a store manager.
Need better trained employees working customer service. Lady named Siobhan was clearly annoyed that I asked to pickup money with western union. She gave me a blank receipt and said I need to write down my name address and everything else, that’s not how it works. They usually take your id for verification and ask for the transfer number. She than said she needed a 9 digit transfer number which is incorrect, I told her it’s 10 and she proceeded to argue that it’s 9 digits. They were busy so I just walked out instead of asking for someone who knows what they’re doing.

Andrea in the bakery is amazing!! She is wonderful! I couldn’t have been more delighted with her…and she was right, the birthday cake was delicious! She deserves a raise!
Update: Great job, Albertsons! Your polite response and friendly man in the produce department earned you another star. Very pricey for the area! I wouldn’t shop here again because the prices are significantly higher for the same products as other groceries in town. I’d have given it 2 stars simply for that, however their staff were friendly and helpful, so I found that refreshing. Also their produce selection was decent, and the store was clean and well stocked. These positives don’t make up for the price issue though, since other stores have polite staff, are clean, and have stocked shelves as well. Honestly, I can’t see why anyone would shop here. There’s no apparent positive discriminating feature to incentivize me to pay more.
For the best prices, make sure you are signed up and using the Albertson’s app. Also look for red tags throughout the store. Oftentimes you can find things for half price by looking for red tags. These can be clearance items, managers specials, and Friday deals. Currently there’s a lot of red tags in the hair products section.

11/17/23. Stopped at the Albertsons on Division. We stopped at demonstration set up. My 9year old Granddaughter sampled the smoked cheddar and really liked it. She said (may I please have another piece? And the Demonstrator told her (this is not a free lunch program).

This location really needs to step their game up. It’s a bit uncomfortable being followed by obvious loss prevention employees and while trying to pickup groceries after work. The young lady in the green jacket followed me at a 4 ft distance around 3 isles before I stopped and stared at her and she just pulled her phone out and tried to act nonchalant before continuing to follow me. Awful, hire some professionals instead of teenagers who have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. All of this while there’s probably some tweakers a few isles over actually stealing. I should mention that I work at another Albertsons location locally, and I couldn’t imagine how many customers come in here daily and have to uncomfortably shop with all that going on.
