I went for the first time yesterday and was very impressed with the gentleman working there. He was extremely helpful and did everything he could to be helpful and make it a great shopping experience. We had great conversation and the gentleman working there was very friendly ! The baked food was DELICIOUS and all prices are reasonable and there is a nice variety of middle eastern foods and products. Thank you so much for providing such a lovely shop and excellent customer experience. I will be back very soon!

If you are in the Mesquite area you should go here. A very nice little store with ton's of yummy food. I've been in Al Taqwa twice. Both times I was treated with the utmost respect. Both by the owner and other customers there. The owner, or I presume the owner, made suggestion that were spot on He's very helpful.. I love all their fresh bread but that spinach filled dough!! Oh my, it's so good. The owner suggested I replace a jared kefir with fresh, both soft and a firmer in olive oil brine. The firm not the soft. Also he asked if I liked olives and showed me his favorite to enjoy along with the bread and cheese. The oil from the olives is also amazing on a fresh salad. Now to keep my husband from using up all the oil before the olives are eaten. He's not a huge olive fan but likes these. Being cracked makes it easy to remove the pits and that's good. But the taste is mild and so enjoyable. LOL
Small shop for Middle Eastern merchandise and some needs, not a big thing but helpful as the nearest similar shops are located in Richardson. I hope that it will grow more so people can find all their needs in it in stead of driving all the was to Richardson.

Small Arabic grocery and bakery. It has good spices and a few produce items. The baked goods are amazing, especially the qatayef. They also sell hookah products and pipes.

I came here randomly. They have a wide arrange of Mediterranean chocolates and candies. They have *THE BEST PITA BREAD IN DALLAS*!!! No joke. This is real life. This is really happening. No more buying pita bread from the store that is HARD. This bread is SOFT!!! like a cats ear. I also got quince jelly. I had never heard of this fruit...but gersh dernd it. is the BEST jelly i've ever had. Like grape, but better. yep. In all seriousness, it's a nice place with tasty food. EAT MOAR PITA

Delicious bread, Arabic food and sweets. Nice treatment with customers.
Get there early in the morning for the freshest tasting pita bread in town, load up on hummus in a can and olive oil from Nabla.
Fresh beta bread, and a lot of good stuff. Great people working there.
