From time to time I pop in to have a burger @ Al_Haaq ,the burgers are delicious ,packed with veggies no mincing on any thing 😋 try them ,I usually go to the Piarco branch ,friendly service and opened air sit in area .
Only thing are the flies which happens to be in that entire sit in area no matter what food vendor u purchase from or where u sit ,but the ambience is relaxing other wise,of course other food vendors available. 😏
Stuff lamb cut up in pieces presented with other sides to make it look appetizing but it was not...will never get my money again....

We were not pleased with the taste at all. everything seems to be seasoned with black pepper and masala, the "chicken" pieces were very small, I started looking for missing pigeons, it did not taste like BBQ, it was masala marinated and baked and the sauce was over sweet, no BBQ flavor, more like pancake syrup. the fries were dry and hard, the beef burger had an excellent presentation, but again, masala overpowered the taste of it, the toppings were very big and chunky, they could have been cut thinner. The rice was palatable but was fried with alot of butter. Red onions are very potent, so they might want to ease up on the amount they use.

The food and sauces are tasty, however the food appears to be prepared elsewhere and only served at the location. In MY opinion Bar-B-Que should be off the grill, but again, the food is tasty and the portion size is okay.

This is the best way to be greeted to Trinidad and the best way to say goodbye. Highly recommend the lamb and chicken. For sides you can’t go wrong with the rice, fries or pasta salad. Make sure to get a side of the bbq sauce for your sides
