We are on the island for 10 days and will return before we leave. Worth the golf car drive to this restaurant.

Exceptional food drink and service! We came twice, once for lunch and happy hour and again for dinner and both times we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Food was so good especially the shrimp bruschetta.
The servers are super friendly and helpful and the prices are great. The best part was the saxophone player during dinner he was phenomenal!
They set up a beautiful anniversary dinner for us and we enjoyed every second. Highly recommend!

The Bar man recommended the catch of the day which was a grilled red snapper. Some of the freshest and most perfectly cooked fish I’ve had in my life. Match that with the ocean view and I’d say it’s a must stop while on the island.

Ají team is top notch! Amazing service. Food is so good. We stayed next door so it was easy but still ate here 4 times on our 4 night stay 🤣. My husband has already asked me to try to re create the chicken cordon Belize - he loved it.
I’m not a huge shrimp lover but the shrimp bruschetta was AMAZING.

Paella Belize
This is a must try! It's definitely hidden and you don't know what you are getting into when you first arrive. Down a small path past some small buildings leads to a great little hidden gem. Sitting under the trees looking out over the water was a great atmosphere for dinner! The plastic guards block the wind to make this very peaceful while you eat. The food was amazing! The paella was exceptional! I took our servers word and had the special which was blackened snapper with a shrimp kabob. It was very good. We had a great time and enjoyed every minute of this meal. Definitely worth the trip!

Shrimp in Olive Oil and Garlic Sauce
Very nice place to sit on a beach, we enjoyed breakfast and lunch here. We had the Belizean breakfast with the amazing fry jacks with pineapple jam. Yum!! Then our very friendly waiter told us about renting a kayak and going to the reef, they also gave us snorkeling gear. This was such a cool little adventure, maybe took about 20 minutes to kayak out but so worth it. It was beautiful, saw colorful coral and lots of colorful fish. When we returned after a couple of hours we did lunch at Aji, red snapper and grilled shrimp kabobs they were delicious!! Very neat place to have a little adventure and relax.

Aji Tapa might have been the highlight of a great vacation in Belize. We stayed at Bella Vista and ate here many times. Breakfast, lunch, dinner....all were wonderful. Highlight is the fresh seafood that really can't be beat. Paella, speared lobster, shrimp bruschetta. (Anything with shrimp or lobster for us!) Fresh fish. Calamari melted in your mouth. A wide variety of fruity drinks as well as great sangria and a solid wine list. Unlike some places, fresh water was provided upon request. And we thought prices were extremely reasonable considering the fare. Canceled our final evening reservation elsewhere to eat here once more. Servers are wonderful and highest compliments to the chef and kitchen staff. Music some nights...we loved the flute player. Give friendly Dakota (restaurant dog) a pat on the head from us!

Don't think about going here, just do it! Everything on the menu seems to be awesome! Eat at the covered patio or out at the beach tables. Great views while you dine in the cool beach atmosphere. Have a drink or two while you wait for your amazing meal to be served!

Grilled Snapper
Great place to enjoy some super yummy food. My wife had the coconut shrimp and enjoyed it immensely.I went with the Filet Mignon but it was so good, I didn't get a chance to take a picture. It was expertly cooked even being as thick as it was. The brown special sauce was super flavorful.The garlic mashed potatoes were fantastic. Great atmosphere and the customer service was above 5 stars!!!!
