What can I say… we drive to this place from Cambridge and the service is just at the top! Those girl’s waiters are just fantastic. Efficient, kind and very very fast! The food is just amazing. They cook everything in a minutes. They truly respect your time and everything you ask for is right there with a smile and welcoming faces! Great family place! We love this place a lot! Ordered takeout and got the golden fish maki and phoenix maki and really hit the spot, esp on a Friday evening after a long work week. Melts in your mouth and ready quickly! Aji is, hands down, the best sushi place in the Boston area. Their ingredients are always super fresh and their food is absolutely delicious. Everything we’ve tried has been amazing. Such an underrated spot! Top 3 sushi in Boston IMO. I’ve been here around 4 times and usually get: miso soup, gyoza, new wave maki, Spicy Crispy Mango Tuna Maki, Spicy Crispy Tuna Maki Also really good prices. Haven't been here in a few years. Was happy to see that their quality and service was still on point. Sashimi was very fresh. We also got 2 spicy salmon handrolls (forgot to take a pic until we got to our last bite) - big full pieces of salmon and not the grind up one like some places). The pork katsu had the perfect amount of crunch and not overly oily. The meat inside was not hard or dried. Ikura was fresh but also a bit sweet compared to others. We had wanted the Hamachi kama, but they were out so we got the Hotate Hokkaiyaki. This was done very differently compared to other places. It wasn't bad but not something I would get here again. When in the east coast 🐟 Aji Sushi Abt 📍Newton , Boston Gotta have some good uni and salmon roe. Chunks of goodies at a fairly reasonable price. Pretty fresh too Craved sushi and got some take out with friends. It took just 15mins from calling to pickup. Got the Sushi Deluxe for $20, comes with a miso soup and salad. Also ordered uni, tobiko, and salmon roe as extras. I liked the deluxe set that came with a California roll + salmon, Hamachi, tuna, unagi (eel), shrimp. Great food quality and taste. Definitely the best sushi in Newton! Surprisingly even the vegetarian options are fantastic, specially the shiitake mushroom tempura maki. For the non-vegetarians, highly recommend the beef teriyaki & spicy tuna maki. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Good, not great overall. Dressings both above and below the tuna overwhelmed the fish in the Special Tuna Salad. Fish served with Chirashi was fresh and portions were satisfying, but the sushi rice was just a disappointment. Table service at 6 PM was slow with a busy dining room. Noise levels were moderate.
