New update:
A lot of good changes at this Acme. New carts, the produce section us being upgraded, and they usually have everything you need. I like this location because their employees are so friendly and helpful.
DON'T SAY YOU'RE OPEN UNTIL 10PM IF YOU'RE NOT. Apparently whether it's fifteen, ten minutes before 10pm you guys lock your doors. Probably should state that. No other store I know does this. Update it to 9:30 if you're too lazy to keep doors open until 10pm. (This has happened twice by the way)
Linda is thee worst cashier ever. Helped my fiancé with an Instacart order and she kept stopping her job of scanning to tell us how to bag properly. She kept saying “I would like for you to not bag like that” It’s not your stuff - what does it matter? Lol. The thing is, we get complimented for smart bagging all the time - eggs with bread - bread by itself - frozen/colds together. I never go to Acme anyway but now I for sureeee will never be back. She was so mean I could do nothing but laugh. It was outrageous. So maybe still go to acme but just be cautious who you choose to check you out. It’s not the entire acme, there were some really helpful people. So thank you for your service ✨👏🏾🙌🏾
I recently visited the Old Bridge ACME Supermarket on Route 9, specifically Store 2827. I am always impressed by the cleanliness of the store and the reasonable prices for their products. The woman who arranges flowers in the Flower Department is truly talented, and her work is absolutely stunning. However, what impressed me the most was a female ACME employee who works in the Deli Department. She always greets her customers with a smile, informs them about the latest sales, and has extensive knowledge of the Deli department. She was fast, efficient, very friendly, and cooperative towards her customers. It is great to see employees going above and beyond their duties. I hope she is recognized for her exceptional work and for being an excellent representative of ACME.
I use the app to place orders for my mother. I placed an order on January 10 for delivery to her home. The delivery company that was used was Uber and the driver left the product at the wrong address. I contacted the store and I was told they had no way to get a hold of the Uber driver and most of them don’t speak English anyway, not sure what that has to do with anything I was told to call the corporate office that there was nothing they could do at the store level I called corporate they offered to replace the order and deliver it the next day. I informed them that that was not acceptable. They stated that it was all they could do and they would put a refund request in for the order that was delivered to the incorrect address. I did place another order the same day for the same day delivery which did arrive in a timely manner to the correct address. I then reached back out to corporate, who informed me that I didn’t follow Their escalation process properly and that the refund was denied because I didn’t follow their procedure. Sorry I wasn’t aware of their procedure. I simply asked for a refund that is rightfully mine because the company that they used to deliver didn’t do their job right they told me I had to wait another 7 to 10 business days for the refund , called them again to ask for status of the refund eight days later was told that I had to take it up with Uber to which I replied absolutely not. I didn’t do business with Uber. I did business with Acme. They then stated that they were going to escalate again and to give them another 3 to 5 days, and that they were going to reach out directly to the old bridge Operations manager to have this resolved. Sadly, I have a sneaking suspicion that I will never hear from the operations manager. I understand the money I’m asking for may not be a lot that is not the point the point is the customer service and the runaround that I have gotten is beyond disheartening I will continue to call their corporate office until the refund is given to me . Terrible experience to say the least.

I Do you still need assistance with this? I did the chat as suggested, of course cannot help me because it’s not equipped to do so the contact link is a joke when this day and age has to mail something to a PO Box. I don’t understand what the problem is? I called again today and have now been given another Scripted reply and still have to wait another 5 to 7 days This is absolutely pathetic. I will just add this to social media maybe they’ll get somebody’s attention.
