Super unprofessional and rude service. Went to order a meal to go. We ordered something from the specials.. the garlic butter steamer bowl which clearly states it comes with Asian garlic bread. He came back a few minutes later and double checked what we ordered (he didn’t remember and asked about spice level)… time passed, he asked if we wanted water while we waited, I said yes. He did not bring water, we had to ask for it a while later. And then when the food was done he didn’t even come to us and our table to let us know. He said “Your food’s ready” from far away and we barely heard him and had to ask if he was speaking to us…? And finally as we’re about to pay he informs us they’re out of bread. WOW. Would have been nice to know before we ordered. Definitely something they could have let us know beforehand. No discounts offered for the incovenience. 0/10, horrible experience. We tried this place a few years ago and it was pretty good and there was great service. Went there last night and it was terrible. We ordered our food to go and we’re glad we did. The person working was so incredibly slow, like choosing to be slow. No urgency to get customers their orders, didn’t look like they wanted to be there, no good customer service skills whatsoever. Even though we were only picking up a to go order, it took forever to get it. We had asked for a Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee and that took over 10 minutes simply because the person working was going so slow. Even to help sit down customers, this person was moving like a snail and never smiled at anyone. Sort of seemed to have a bad attitude about working there. We got our food and took it back to the house, only to find out that the food was the most bland Thai food we’d ever tasted. We paid almost $40 when we pay $20 back home for excellent Thai food. The paid Thai had no sauce on it. It looked like it was just plain noodles with the meat and veggies. I had the peanut lovers and it was also bland. There was no sauce already on it, just a small container of it that didn’t even cover the whole dish. The peanut sauce had basically no flavor. If you want a Thai iced tea or Thai iced coffee, that’s about all they’re good for. Food just missed the mark. Very bland. Pad Thai wasn't tasty at all and the tofu tasted off. Beef in the yakisoba had no color, almost gray, and tasted poor quality. Food here tastes absolutely amazing. We had Thai Basil Chicken, Pad Thai Tofu and Thai Iced Tea. The spice level is perfect, food tastes really good and the service was good too! I'm giving A Mighty Thai 5 stars because Manzanita is so fortunate to have them. While some days are better than others, I've never regretted eating here. There are adventurous items or occasional specials on the menu worth trying as well as standard curries and an excellent Pad Thai. They even have a small bar and a happy hour.
