Although service was good and efficient, food was terrible (very greasy and tasteless. The house wine was by far the worst ive ever had - the only thing it had in common with the average red wine, was the colour). The one star rating is based simply on the food. The staff were lovely and very efficient. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–15 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
La Lanterna is great! Delicious local food, attendants are very thoughtful, they advise you to have the best choice of their menu. When in Alverca, never miss it!

Cheap, quick. Traditional portuguese dishes, great Arroz Doce (rice pudding). Has a parking lot a bit further down the road.
Very goos place. The food is excellent and the staff is nice. It's a bit cramped with people, but the rest it's fine!
