My husband and I went there for a week lunch and had the menu of the day, 10€, very cheap for the quality and quantity of food served (they usually post it on their Facebook page). It included olives or tuna pate (very tasty) with crackers, drink (we had the jar of house white wine, pretty good), main course, dessert and coffee. We opted for atum a madeirense (fresh tuna cooked with tomatoes, onions and potatoes), that was very flavorful and well cooked. The portion was huge, we would've been satisfied with half of it, but it was so good that we ate it all! For dessert, we had the homemade chocolate mousse, which was amazing and the portion was enormous, once again! Since we didn't want the coffee (included in the menu), the extremely nice waiter brought us a complimentary plate of delicious french toast with syrup! Delicious food and amazing service, would definitely recommend it to anyone and will certainly come back!

Still my favourite restaurant in town. Extra points for the fabulous waitress! Meal type Lunch Price per person €30–35 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I had high hopes for this restaurant but was sadly let down. To sum up , poor service and poor food. Avoid unless desperate. We were told the place is better out of season but simply can’t cope with high season pressures. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €15–20
Good food but extremely slow service over lunch time. Waited approx. 50 minutes for 4 dishes plus an extra 10 for one that was still missing (table of 5) apparently due to “no space on the grill”. Staff was friendly enough. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €50+
Went there last night and my husband had bean stew with plain rice. About 2 hours later he was violently ill with food poisoning. Never seen anything like it. Our food was lovely Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–25
Excellent food we had Tamboril and Gambas in a cream sauce (Monk fish and prawns) seved with rice and salad recommended by who we thought was the owner, the chocolate mouse was so rich and gorgeous. Staff friendly and helpful. Given a complimentary glass of port and toast in syrup , as it was my husbands birthday. Highly recommended.
The service is poor. I had to wait one hour to get a seat. After securing a seat, I had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes for the food to come. It's not just that you have to wait 3 hours, the service is also below average.
Amazing staff, with lots of food options which are all delicious. Can't wait to come back
The food was great and the staff was helpful and cordial. Good for group lunches or dinners.
Great staff super welcome and great food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €15–20
