Great place for pool and a great drink. Tasha, Lisa, well all of them are great at what they do! They all are fun to talk to. My husband loves their food. He usually eats it all before I can even get a taste 😒 pool tables are kept nice and clean. The overall crowd is a good one. I’ve had some good conversations with many regulars and newbies.

This place is huge! Everything you want in a friendly neighborhood dive bar. At least 10 nice pool tables, lotto. There are a bunch at TVs with an assortment of sports showing. The staff is happy to put on whatever game you’d like to watch. The crowd varies from young to old and it really feels like all are welcome. I didn’t try the food but it looked and smelled good. The staff was prompt and friendly. I’ll be visiting more often for sure.
First time visit last Wednesday. I didn't have any food, but menu is pretty extensive. Beer selection decent and a pint was only $5.25 - pretty cheap these day. Service at the bar was quick and friendly. Lots of pool table and not too busy on a Wednesday early evening.

We really enjoy 89 sports bar and billiards. Great deal on pool during midday hours. The chinese food is pretty good. Stopped in today for my wife and daughter to enjoy the hot and sour soup. Very nice local business that deserves support. Lisa was the bartender today, she is great and made sure we had everything we needed.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to a working man’s pool hall. This place has more tables and tv’s in a basement lounge than I’ve ever experienced. Truly a unique distraction laden joint reminding me of some low end casinos from years gone by in Reno or on Fremont Street. It’s the kind of place that strangers meet and immediately start casting bad jokes and the ladies scoff. I played a few games with a guy fresh back from Eufala, Al and Panama City. Singing praises for the redneck Riviera was not how I expected my day to unfurl. I haven’t had fresh eyes on those towns since about ‘83 when I crapped my pants on a putt putt course. But anyway, on to the bad joke. This youngster told the keep that I needed a set of balls. To which I replied, ‘I’ve already got a set.’ And she concluded, that I just needed a fresh rack. Yup.
I will be honest, as a small -dark - basement level - pool hall and bar, they should have no reason to serve some of the best Chinese food i have ever had..... but they did. The menu was unexpectedly great. I guess the owner used to own the restaurant above and didnt want to do both, so the food came down... it is worth it. Even if you dont go to play pool, you can watch some sports and gets some great food.

Very nice environment thats very friendly and inviting, service was good and staff were kind. The food is not anything special at all mostly fried stuff and no healthy options but I dont hold that against them most people come to play, drink, and eat anything but good thing is around the corner there are plenty of options of restaurants and food trucks. Music is pretty good in there as well shout to the juke box and the DJ.

I had the absolute BEST TIME HERE! We just wanted to play pool and chill. A lot of places only have a few tables and you can't just PLAY. But there's like 10 tables here and their rental system is effective. Saturday night and I only waited 20 mins for our own pool table:) drinks were amazing. Staff was even better. Food was banging! This is truly a hidden gem
Great food for the price, lots of open pool tables for just 10 an hour. Definitely worth checking out and would recommend anyone to check out 👌

Awesome Asian varieties of entrees served promptly and hot/fresh and the service is top-notch. Basement location makes for cool afternoons or evenings to shoot pool, share a drink or meal with friends, or participate in one of the many $5-entry fargo-reported tourneys. The pool tables are (I think 10 ) Diamond 7’ pool tables and one 9’ Diamond, are all well maintained. Free pool in the afternoons with a $10 purchase! Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t yet. Ask anyone there about league openings even if you’re a beginner! Sports-bar feel with many screens to watch your favorite sports action. This place was previously known as the Underground Sports Bar but the nee name reflects all the recent upscale renovations added to make 89 Sports Bar & Billiards in Aloha my “Cheers!”
